"You may know him as Peter Parker or even by his made up name, Spider-Man! Please welcome Tom Holland!" The host called out his name as the giant sliding doors parted to reveal the man of the hour, Tom Holland, your boyfriend.

You smiled to yourself as you watched him walk onto the stage. The crowd erupted into applause and cheers as he waved at the sea of people in front of him and those watching at home, like you. After taking in the moment, Tom sat in line with the other Avengers cast members and began answering questions as part of the panel — well, answering them as best he could. You knew Marvel was stingy with the script, so Tom didn't really know much other than his scenes. Even then, the context wasn't fully developed.

In the middle of one of Tom's answers, the video started buffering, and you let out an angry huff. As you went to refresh the page, your phone started ringing and the screen switched to a picture of your boyfriend making an adorable, dorky face. You answered the FaceTime call to see a sleepy Tom lying on his hotel bed.

"Hello, darling," he said once you'd answered. A smile grew on his face when his eyes met yours. He missed you so much, and the press tour had only just begun.

"Hi, Tom," you smiled back. "What are you doing up at 4am?" You questioned, looking at the clock on your phone. You were in London, and it was only 8pm for you, but Tom was in Seoul, South Korea, up bright and early apparently.

"Jet lag," he grumbled. "I couldn't fall back asleep so I figured I would see what you were up to. You look comfy," he added when he caught sight of his jumper wrapped around your shoulders.

You giggled and snuggled into the neckline, taking in the comforting scent of his cologne. "You left it here, so what else was I supposed to do with it?" you joked innocently.

"Good point," he hummed.

"I was just watching the panel from earlier," you mentioned, "but it started buffering during one of your answers," you finished with a pout.

"Ah, I'm sure it wasn't anything important anyways," Tom tried to comfort.

You narrowed your eyes at the boy on your screen.

"What?" he laughed defensively.

"I bet it was actually something that could give me a clue as to what goes on in this film. The one time you spoil something, my phone decides to cut off the livestream," you huffed.

"Love, if I had gotten even remotely close to spoiling something, I don't think I'd be here right now," Tom laughed. You smiled at his joking response before settling into the couch.

Your tone changed into a calm but sincere one. "I wish you were here right now," you told him.

Tom's smile softened as he brought the phone closer to his face. "I wish I was too, (Y/N). But I'll be back soon."

You nodded in response. You understood why he had to be gone for so long, and you would've been able to go with him. But that was before your work got in the way. The head of your department stepped down the week before Tom's flight, and since you were the associate, you had to fill the role for the time being.

"I love you, Tom," you said before kissing your fingers and touching the camera.

He did the same as he replied, "And I love you more."

You shook your head, a smile returning to both of your faces. "Not possible," you giggled.
