April 11th, 2018 Wednesday

Okay, I've been planning thing for almost a month now and I got everything I can think of written. I'm planning to go to these big trip to Orlando, Florida for my birthday. This will be my 20th birthday, so I wanted to make it special. Unlike my Sweet 16, that became a complete failure. But that's a story for another time. Not just that, but I wanted to take someone with me. I haven't made any best friends here in Utah since I moved here ten months ago. I have made friends, I just don't know enough about them that would make me comfortable about taking them many miles away on the week long vacation. But as I thought about the fact that this would be about celebrating my birthday, it came to me. My sister Erica. She's fourteen and a half right now and was born on my fifth birthday. It's her birthday too, and she'll be fifteen. I want her to have an amazing, in case something happens at her Sweet 16. Still not gonna write down what happened for me in this log entry. So this trip is going to be a birthday sister trip. A funny thought even popped into our heads. A lot of people think we're twins because of how we're the same height, and when people don't they think I'm the younger sister. So when we're at the parks, we're gonna mess with a few people and tell them that we're twins celebrating our 20th birthday and see if we can fool anyone. I decided to start this log because I thought it would be cool to write down entries about the progress and how I'm feeling. I may even get Erica to write a few entries, but that's up to her. Because of how I overthink and like having everything organized and detailed, I started to write everything down in this journal. I got this book two years ago, when my dad came back from CES. CES is a convention held in Los Vegas that is put together by the Consumer Technology Association, in case you didn't already know. I original wanted to use this journal to write an idea I had for a scary screen play. But it ended up just sitting in a box collecting dust. Then when I started to write the main things about this trip on some random notebook paper, I realized that I was going to write more than just that and that there would a lot of papers for this. To keep everything in one place, I grabbed this journal to put in all the planning that goes into this trip. So far, this is what I written in here: What hotel to stay at and how long. What restaurants to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner at each park. Packing list, things to do before leaving. what I need to buy before going. What everything will cost. And what snacks to get. And what things to do in each of the parks. And now, these logs. I will still be writing details for the trip until the trip starts. And I will be writing these log entries until the trip is over.
