Sunheri had been watching the relationship of Avneil wither away and she was deeply distressed. Neil was so angry that he was not in a position to even sit back and listen to avni's explanation and his repeated declarations of hating avni, not wanting to be in her presence also was damaging Avni even more than she already was. Although sunheri didn't know the full story for Avni's reasons she had over the last few years since she found Avni heard enough that's eh knew that Avni had really strong reasons for leaving neil and also that she was in a really bad place emotionally. She had been so affected by her mother's death that she had become the shell of the courageous Avni that she had seen in jail and had grown to respect, adore and love. That girl was brave, he had fire, she refused to back down, she stood up for herself and those who were defenceless and she had a heart of gold. She was extremely forgiving too, and always wanted the best for others. Sunheri knew that she owed her second lease of life along with Tara-Sitara to Avni. It was almost like fate led her back to Avni 4 years back although sunheri was in for a rude shock to see what Avni had been reduced to. She was now hiding behind a façade, she was now scared, alone, in pain. She still had the same benevolence and she had tried to find some purpose to her life by adopting kids who had been abandoned by their parents and provide them a better life. She tried to drown her pain by ignoring it and keeping herself busy. She worked two jobs- as a tution teacher and also by doing part time accounting for a nearby firm in addition to picking up odd jobs. She worked hard to earn enough to give the children the best lifestyle she could. But sunheri could see behind the façade. Rarely she would even see glimpses of the old Avni surface especially when it came to the kids but before she could celebrate it, it would disappear again. And now that fate had led avni back to neil sunheri decided that it was time to do something. She had watched as a mute spectator for a while now but she could no longer watch this. She knew that Neil was right to be angry and hurt beyond measure but he needed to atleast listen to Avni's side of the story and looking at things she could see that he would not listen to avni, but maybe he would listen to her
