The attention of the tree boys, despite everything that had happened that day, were all captured by the beautiful young blond who opened the door to Reece's house. Shocking them all, she squealed with delight and wrapped her arms around Jake, who luckily was the first to recognize her as Reece's younger sister.
"Hay Christen, long time no see!" he laughed as she let go before hugging Nicky and Kyle as well. She was only a few months younger than Jake but she had barely even looked like a girl the last time they had seen her, now there was no doubt. Grabbing Jake's hand, she led them through the house, her face glowing when Jake didn't pull away from her like he used to, making it obvious that her crush on him was still intact. Out of sight, out of mind clearly didn't apply with her.
"Reece said you'd be coming. He'll be back in a few minutes he just went out to gather the others for the meeting. Can I get you anything to drink so long?" Christen asked as she sat Jake down at the kitchen table, showing the others to sit as well.
"Sure, ummm, what do you have?" Nicky asked.
"Whatever you want!" she laughed
"Careful when you say that to a group of boys." Kyle mocked lightly causing her to blush, her fair skin failing to hide her embarrassment at the implied innuendo.
"Coffey pleeeeease." Jake requested with desperation throwing a fake apple at Kyles head, which he caught easily, shooting a hurt look in his best friend's direction.
"Sounds good." Nicky injected, rolling his eyes at the other two.
"Me too please, unless your offering something else." Kyle purred.
"I swear Kyle, that's all you ever think about!" Jake shook his head at his friends candidness. "Nope, you have things backward. It's you who can't keep your head out the gutter. I'm the responsible one remember."
"Yea and I'm Saint Mary. Now shut up both of you or Christen will think you were bought up in caves." Nicky scolded playfully.
"Hay if it works..." Jake and Kyle responded in union.
"Awesome." Christen laughed before turning on the kettle, then began filtering around the kitchen gathering this and that and chattering all the while. "I was wondering if I'd ever see you three again after you left the gang, it's been, what two years since you all walked out?" She asked, her head in the fridge. "Anyway, not much has changed since then......"

Nicky attention drifted over to his brother whose eyes were getting darker by the second as he watched the alluringly attractive young woman move around the kitchen. It was surprising to see Jake even acknowledge her, when they were younger he had found her extremely annoying, and especially after what had happened today, but now.... Well now he just looked hungry. If Nicky wanted to hold on to Cynthia than maybe Christen would be the perfect distraction for his baby brother..... Nicky smiled as he began to plan just how to trip Jake into her bed, not knowing that she already had a plan to do just that.
"What's got you grinning like the cat who caught the cannery?" Christen asked him as she set a tray loaded with Coffey, sugar, milk and cream on the table.
"Nothing, just thinking." Nicky blushed as Jakes eyebrows rose questioningly, then he laughed as, being so adapt at following his brothers thoughts, he realizing what was going on in Nicky's head.
