Minho met up with his friends Changbin and Chan after school.
The two were curious about his apartment, and they wanted to talk to Hyunjin as well.
They were currently walking home.
"I haven't talked to Hyunjin in forever," Chan thought aloud. "He's been so busy lately. How is he?"
Minho shrugged. "I haven't talked to him much either. Apparently, Jisung does. I hear him on the phone or skype a lot. Yesterday, for example. He talked to him and Felix."
Changbin, who hadn't shown any interest in the conversation up til that point, suddenly perked up. "Felix?"
Minho nodded. "Felix asked about some Instagram Live? And they had a stage yesterday. Hyunjin tweeted about it."
"Oh."
"Anyways, we're here. Welcome to the LeeHan household." He opened the door to the garden, waving them inside.
Once they entered the house, they imidiatly headed to Minho's room, where he turned on his laptop. "What time is it?"
Chan checked his watch. "Four thirty. Where is Jisung?"
Minho clicked on Hyunjin's icon on skype to call the boy. "He has after school practice. Dance or rap or something, I don't know."
Someone picked up, but it wasn't Hyunjin. It was Felix.
"Heyy, what's up..." At first he was loud and energetic, but his voice soon died down when he spotted Changbin. Minho raised an eyebrow, a questioning look on his face.
Felix smiled at him, but his eyes glistened, indicating that he was close to tears. He quickly turned away and his shoulders started shaking.
Before anyone could say anything, Hyunjin came into the room, his hair wet. "Lixie, you can..." He broke off when he saw the boy.
He rushed to him, softly wiping away his tears. "What's wrong? What happened?"
Felix could only let out a sobb, but Hyunjin found the reason himself when he saw the laptop and Changbin on the screen.
He hugged the Australian, soothingly stroking his hair, muttering things into his ears.
"It's okay, baby. It's okay. It's over. I'll protect you."
"What's happening?", Minho asked the only English speaker in the room.
"Changbin and Felix had... a rather bad breakup. Felix... hasn't recovered yet."
Hyunjin sat down on the chair in front of his desk, seating Felix on his lap so that he could look at him while he was talking. "Don't worry about him, okay? You have me now. I love you, more than he ever did. You make me happy. You're my sunshine."
Chan translated under his breath, and Changbin got pale. "Felix and Hyunjin are a thing?"
Chan nodded, "Jinnie asked him out about a week after arriving in Sydney? He tweeted about it."
Changbin snorted. "As if I'd read his tweets."
"Hello everyone~", Hyunjin said and smiled, waving, while holding Felix, who had burried his head in his boyfriend's shoulder and was breathing steadily, with the other hand around his waist.
"How have you been?", Chan moved closer to the screen and noticed that Felix was sleeping.
"Good, just tired. But I'm also really happy."
"Felix, huh?", Changbin asked.
Hyunjin's smile dissappeared and his gaze turned icy when he looked at Changbin. "Yes." Then he looked away, like looking at Changbin for a longer period of time was a pain.
But Changbin wasn't done yet."Never thought you two would get into a relationship. I always thought Felix had too much of a crush on me to..."
Felix's hands tightened to fists, clinging to Hyunjin's shirt, indicating that he was awake.
"Well, you thought wrong. Especially when you thought that because Felix loved you so much he wouldn't leave you even if you behaved like a jerk and treated him like shit!!"
"I never did!! Yes, I may have ignored him in school sometimes..."
"Ignore, don't make me laugh. You made him pretend like he didn't know you in school!! You even got a fucking girlfriend to make people believe you were straight!! Why?? Because you wouldn't be cool anymore if you were gay or affectionate?"
"I loved him!! If he loved me as much as I did him, he'd-"
"No, Changbin. He loved you more than you did. You got tired of him, you called him clingy and whiny, you called him annoying and you were the one to say that you didn't love him and that you didn't care about him EVEN BEFORE YOU TWO BROKE UP. Felix did nothing wrong!!"
Changbin lowered his head.
Minho, who had kept quiet and listened, now looked at Chan with a raised eyebrow, asking with his eyes whether that was true. Chan nodded.
"I'm going to bring him to bed."
Hyunjin carried Felix over to the bed located next to the desk. He laid him down softly, covering him with the blanket and giving him a kiss on his forehead, before turning back to his desk.
Minho watched how Hyunjin got stopped by a small hand grabbing his sleeve. The look on his face proved that he hadn't known that Felix was awake.
"Thank you," Felix sobbed.
Hyunjin kneeled down next to the bed, wiping away the boy's tears and smiling softly, his own eyes glistening dangerously. "You don't need to thank me. I did it because I love you."
"... I love you too," Felix replied after a little hesitation, and Hyunjin began to cry. Now it was the Australian's turn to smile softly and wipe away his boyfriend's tears. It was the first time Felix had said that - to him.
He kissed Felix, before wiping his face dry and sitting back down at the desk. "Why'd you call?"
"Jisung fell down the stairs again," Chan replied.
Hyunjin bit his lower lip, his face suddenly serious. "I know, I got your message and I was planning on calling him after he comes home from school."
"Why is it so bad that he fell down the stairs, though?", Minho asked.
Hyunjin sighed. "Cause he didn't. He's being bullied in school."
"Why?", Minho looked shocked.
"Because he's a YouTuber, and a successful one. People are jealous."
"Now I'm even more worried about him. Will he be okay?"
Hyunjin nodded, his mind elsewhere.
Jisung slid down the wall next to Minho's door and began to sobb.
