Weeks have passed and there are a lot of things happening for Bea. PVL season ended and it's now time for beach volleyball and basketball season. Bea and Kim were chosen to represent Ateneo in beach volleyball. But there were changes when Kim had her ACL injury during the PVL season. Jules then replaced her as Bea's partner and Ana became their alternative to complete the trio.
Bea is having a hard time juggling all the things she's tasked to do. From being the captain of the team, joining the beach volleyball, twice or thrice (sometimes) a day training, making their thesis, attending her classes, casual meet ups with her friends and even deciding if she'll go to med school after college. It's her last year as a college student, she wants to make the most out of it and she's still undecided if she'll continue her fifth playing year.
"Oh baka matunaw yang phone mo kakatitig mo diyan." Jho said as she sat beside Bea and opened the book she needed for her thesis.
"Feeling ko may nakakalimutan akong gawin eh. Di ko lang maisip kung ano." Bea replied. Scheduling all her activities for the whole week is what's helping her keep herself on track.
"Diba nilalagay mo naman sa calendar or alarm mo sa phone yung mga dapat mong gawin?"
"Oo, pero I don't know. I think may nakalimutan akong ilagay."
"Kalma lang, Bei. Nagooverthink ka lang siguro, tsaka baka pagod ka lang, buong linggo ka nang naghahabol ng requirements mo."
"Alam mo naman kung bakit, Jho. Graduating tayo eh. Ang hassle lang talaga."
"Wala tayong magagawa, Bea. Basta magpahinga ka nalang agad pag nagkaroon ng chance."
Bea closed her eyes for a minute and Jho rested one of her hand on Bea's shoulders comforting her of whatever is bugging her mind. After a while, both of them got back into what they were doing earlier.
The next days were the same for Bea. She's been doing a lot of things and she even sacrifices her extra time to spend with her friends into doing her requirements and traning for the upcoming tournaments.
Since her last class in the morning was a free cut, she went home and went straight to her room and took a bath. She charged her phone and placed it in silent mode. She had a very tough week and for once, she wanted to have a decent sleep. She looked at the time and it was only 10 am and her next class is not until 5 pm. She has time to rest.
Bea woke up with the loud knocks on her door. She ignored it at first but whoever is knocking, is persistent. She groaned and looked at the time. She just slept for three hours. She is getting more cranky since her teammates were already screaming her name. She could handle the knocking but not the screams. She angrily went to the door and opened it.
"What do you guys want? And sinong nagbukas sainyo wala kanina sina manang ah? Plus, I'm trying to get my sleep here!" Bea said as soon as she opened the door. She also walked back to her bed and covered her face with her pillow.
"Kakarating nila manang, nasaktuhan namin." Therese explained.
"It's Thirdy, Bea. He's been calling you kanina pa daw and you're not answering." Kat said with a worrying tone. Bea groaned loudly and walked to where her phone is.
"Really?? 12 missed calls and 15 text messages?" Bea rolled her eyes before opening the messages.
"Icheck mo kaya muna bago ka magreklamo, maybe it's something important." Maddie replied. At first she didn't know what Thirdy needed until she read all the messages. Some were from her friends and her teammates but most of the messages came from Thirdy.
