Chapter 1: The Past Is The Past

It's been about three years since I left California, I have been doing pretty good. Omaha is snowy  here and there but fine, i'm better now.  

I haven't talked to anyone  from California since I left, I feel bad for not saying goodbye to Cameron or Autumn. 

I miss them. Claire said she went down to the house in California and no one was there, she said it looked like no one had been in months. 

"Isabelle, Alec is here!" I heard Skylar call from the front door, I smile rushing to the door, as I tackle him in a massive hug.

"Bye Sky!" I call to her taking Alec's hand as he leads me out to his car. 

"Bye Issy don't be out to late!" I wave to her as we drive out of the driveway.

Rolling my window down I breath in the sweet summer air of Omaha. It made me smile as I took in the bright sun shine.

A lot has changed in the past year. I'm no longer blonde, and my hair is longer, I've been keeping up with my YouTube channel. My social medias have really grow, I announced to everyone that Shawn and I were over on twitter and after a year of healing I found someone new.

Alec has been there for me through the past three years, and I couldn't be more thankful for that. The car stopped, I looked out at the amazing forest ahead. Stepping out of the car I look closer hoping to take in all of the scenery.

"This is beautiful, Alec." I say turning around to look at him, I cover my mouth with my hands as I look at Alec down on one knee.

"Isabelle Grace Dallas, I know it's only been three years but I can't help but think that your the person I would love to spend the rest of my entire life with, will you marry me?" I gape at him, for a few seconds, before giving him my answer.

"Yes!"

It's been three years since Isabelle left California, I still think of her every single day, but I have gone on with my life, I still look  for her all of the time, especially whenever I see her on YouTube.

"Shawn you need to see this." Autumn said walking into my hotel room.

There it was a tweet from Isabelle with a picture attached.....

It Happened!!!!!!!!

Underneath the tweet was a picture of a ring on her finger. It made my heart burst, after three years of being broken up with Isabelle it still hurt knowing that I still loved her and she was able to move on so easily.

"I also got a text from her." Autumn showed me the text message....

Issy: Autumn I would really love it if you and Cameron would come down to Omaha for my wedding. Sorry for not keeping in touch.

I shook my head and pushed Autumn's phone away from me.

"Well Shawn what are we going to do?" 

"I don't know." Autumn hit me in the back of the head with a pillow glaring at me.

"You'd better figure it out." She walked back the room she and Cameron shared. She was right I did have to do something but what?

Suddenly it came to me, I was going to get Isabelle back even if it took me forever to win her over there was no way I wasn't going to try.

"Autumn I have a plan!" I yelled rushing to there room. 

This was how I was going to get Isabelle back

My phone buzzed signalling that I had gotten a text. Looking at it I saw it was from Autumn.

Autumn: Of course we will. See you soon!

I smiled happy that Autumn and Cameron were coming to the wedding, it meant the world to me knowing they were coming. I regret not inviting Shawn but I just couldn't handle that, situation, of having to see him again after it had taken me so long to get over everything that had happened in California.

"You okay Issy?" I look up from my phone to see Alec looking at me concerned. I smile at him and nod my head leaning into him.

"I've never been better."
