LJ's POV

I can't find Masky. I've asked everyone around the mansion except Hoodie. Guess he's the only one left to ask... "What?"

"Have you seen Masky?"

"Yeah."

"Where?"

"Where do you think?"

"I thought you'd tell me..."

"He's back."

"Huh?" Hoodie slams the door on me. "....Masky! Where have you been?!" Masky walks by. Why is he ignoring me..? I hear a door shut. He's gone into his room. "Hey, wait." I try to open the door but it's locked. "Masky...you've been gone all day...everyone's already gone out to kill. Where were you?" He doesn't answer. "Are you okay? Are you mad at me?" He opens the door a crack and hands me a note. We make eye contact for a second before he shuts the door. He isn't wearing his mask...I go into my room and read the note.

"Jack, don't show this to anyone. It's for you to see only. I want to kill myself. Normally I'd resist the urge but I just don't care anymore. I think I'm going insane and I can't find it in me to care. I want to. I'm giving this to you, you're the one I can trust most right now. This is all I can really think to do."

I look at the note for a minute to take it in. I set it next to me and go to knock on Masky's door. He doesn't answer.

"Oh screw it, I'm going in." When I open the door he's asleep. "Oh."

"What are you doing?"

"Oh, Hoodie. I'm just checking on him."

"Well get out. His room is his personal space, and you're invading it."

"But why do you get to stay?"

"I get to stay because I'm his best friend. Now get out." He pushes me out, shuts the door, and locks it. But he gave me the note...he said he trusts me most. I'm his friend too....meanie.

Hoodie's POV

I look down at sleeping beauty. "You make this so easy..."

?????? POV

"What are you doing? Stop him!"

"I don't have to...besides, you're not in charge here."

"Haven't you done enough?! Leave him alone already!"

"You better change your tone or Tim's getting more than just a beating."

"He has to know...he has to know that's not me. I promised I would never hurt him. Now you're making it look like a lie."

"It is a lie. We both know I love him more."

"All you fucking want is sex!"

"That is not true."

"You took his first time."

"At least I have the guts to even make a move. You had the chance to be his first kiss, but you didn't take it. Don't feel ashamed, I'm glad you didn't. That would've changed everything."

"Oh god....oh Tim, it's okay, it's okay...say it's okay.."

"Hm? Oh no, Jack's coming to ruin the fun!" I look at the screen. LJ broke the door down and attacked 'Hoodie'. He's bringing Masky to his room and mumbling about how Masky's his friend too...he has a petty look on his face, but god I'm so thankful for that stupidly joyful face...

"At least someone's there for you while I'm away..."

"What was that?"

"..."

"Yeah, exactly. You aren't away. Soon you'll be dead." He stands up.

"It doesn't matter what you do. I promised Tim I'd find a way out, and I'm determined to keep that promise."

"Well, I hate to crush your dreams but you'll definitely break that one after I break your bones." He walks right up to the bars that separate us. "I can promise you that."
