SORRY FOR THE REALLY SHORT CHAPTER 2 AND NOT UPDATING FOR LIKE EVER :3 anyways thanks for reading

I shuffled through the hallways of my crowded school eager to tell my friends all about what was happening. I doubt they would even believe me though. As i reached my locker Kaley hit me with her backpack, smiling. "Hey" she said in a cheery voice, "hey" I replied. I opened my mouth to talk again but was interrupted by Mal popping up behind Kaley, then laughing. I smiled then grabbed my stuff out of my locker and waited for Sam. So, you know, we went to class, learned stuff.. Whatever. By the time it was finally lunch, I was relieved. Me and Kaley walked to our little room where we all liked to eat lunch together, and sat down. We watched a video by pewdiepie and me, Sam and Mal were laughing uncontrollably; by the end of it I was dead from laughter. After, we just sat there for a minute quietly, so I decided to bring up my 'visions', you know, casually... "Hey guys... you know that bus crash that happened a couple days ago"- I started, but never got to finish. I was interrupted by the loud ringing of the fire alarm.

My heart stopped beating for what seemed like forever. Not only because there was a fire, but I felt, like I was on fire that morning.. Overdosed with heat... What if I'm going to catch on fire? Why is this happening? Why now? Why me? I didn't realize I was frozen in place, until I noticed Sam pulling on my arm to get out of the room. I shook my head and zoned into the moment. I just looked up and Sam with shock on my face. I saw urgency glisten in her eyes. I stood up quickly and Mal reached for the door knob but quickly pulled her hand away. "Ow" she hissed rubbing her hand. "The handle's hot" she said, panicking. The next thing I knew crackling flames rose In front of the window on the door.

We stepped back, forming a huddle. We'd never had a fire drill (with real fire of course), occur at lunch time. I heard screams from in the hallway and the door to outside opening snd closing shut. I was breathing heavily, wondering where the fire was coming from. "Violet, try the other door." Kaley motioned. Since i was the closest to it, I tried the door on the other side of the room. That door led to the p.e teacher's office then to the gym.

I tested the knob first, just to make sure, then opened the door. Getting to the p.e teachers office wasn't that much of an improvement, and it was also very cramped, but hopefully the gym would be safe. We hurried through his office and pushed the next door open to the gym. The smell of smoke and heat filled my nostrils. The smell was worse in the gym, but there was no fire.

There are two exits out of the gym, one close to us and one on the far right of the gym. The exit close to us was also near to where we saw the fire before, but we checked anyways. Sam peered out the window on the door and quickly leaped back seeing the fire spread toward the exit. "It's heading towards this doors too, and fast!" She yelled. We ran over to the other door and saw no sign of fire. I cautiously opened the door slowly and stepped out the door and around the right corner. I don't why I would go that way, but I did. Heat blasted in my face and the fire was right in front of us(mostly me). It seemed like it came out of no where. The whole hallway to the right was engulfed in nasty flames. My lung filled up with smoke like a pail of water and I wheezed. I was closest to the flames and was so shocked I could barley move. My feet were stuck to the floor. I started coughing and couldn't catch my breath. I was so focused on trying to breathe I didn't notice the flames reach out and touch my hand.

I yelled with pain and felled a yank on my arm from behind me. "Violet come on!" Kaley yelled after me, they were starting the other way, which was also clouded in smoke, but no flames, so I followed them. We crouched close to the floor to steer away from the dark clouds rushing through the halls. I covered my nose with my hand and noticed my skin was peeled off on the side of my hand and was a deep red but it looked at purpley and black. It looked like burnt bacon. I gawked at it, but tried to focus on crawling my way through the hall. We took the stairs down to an exit, which was less smokey, so I guess the fire was from the main floor. Sam pushed the door open and we tumbled out into the light day, taking deep breaths. I looked at my hand and winced when I tried to touch it. We looked down at the lower parking lot seeing most of the school made it out. Or all of it maybe, I had no idea. Students gasped and pointed at us. I heard their distant murmurs and guessed we didn't look that hot. Well, I mean good, because I was defiantly hot.

SORRY IT WAS STILL SHORT ILL TRY TO MAKE THE NEXT ONE LONGER.
