The Roommate

"Oh, Tyler, he's my roommate-uh... OUR roommate"

"Are you gay?"

Josh burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?"

"N-nohohothing" He giggled.

"Oh, so you ARE gay?" You smirked. You like hearing Josh laugh.

"No, he's my closest friend. My band mate." He chuckled.

"Band mate??"

"Yeah we're in a band. Twenty Øne Piløts. We're pretty popular if you ask me"

"Ooo we're pretty popular if you ask me" You mimicked.

Josh playfully pushed you and grinned.

-The taxi pulls up at Josh and Tylers (and your) place-

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

"TYYYYLLLLEEERRRRRRR!?"

"Ow what the fuck Josh!? What you tryna do, make him deaf!?"

"Sorry! He doesn't pay attention to things around him, only the thing he is actually doing, seeing, or thinking about."

"So, what's he doing just now"

"DOWN IN THE FOREST, WE'LL SING A CHORUS!"

"hmm, sounds like singing"

"No shit sherlock" you laughed.

The man's singing voice sounded so oddly familiar.

"TYLER"

"SINGING SONGS THAT NOBODY WROTEEEE"

"God's sake...-TYLER!?"

"HANDS HELD HIGHER WE'LL BE ON-"

"TYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY"

"...fire-? Oh, hey Josh!"

A little man with brown hair and a black neck popped his head out of the window and smiled. He didn't seem to notice you, he only seemed to be interested in Josh.

"Come and open the door man"

"Sorry dude!"

Tyler quickly ran downstairs and opened the door. He looked quite cheery.

Josh walked through the door and Tyler put his arm around him.

They walked into the kitchen together and had a conversation for a while.

You stood in the hall way for a while, arms folded, feeling forgotten.

Tyler suddenly popped his head from out of the kitchen, making you jump.

"Sorry (Y/N)! Didn't see you there!"

Now I know what Josh means by him 'focusing on things only he is doing, seeing or thinking' obviously the only thing on his mind is Josh.

He came over to you and gave you a kind of 'bro hug'.

Josh stood back and watched, chuckling to himself.

"What's with the paint?" You asked the smaller man.

Tylers neck and hands were covered in black paint. It also looked very familiar.

He turned to Josh and mouthed something. Josh replied with a shrug.

Tyler turned back to you.

"We'll um, talk about that later"

He put his arm around you, just like he had done to Josh, and guided you to the couch.

He sat you down and Josh came over and popped down next to you.
