As I watch Aphrodite threw the golden mirror I noticed something rather unsettling as I watch her beautiful golden eyes turn a blood red. Aphrodite was very different amongst the gods, she was half demon.
Her mother broke the only rule that we had and that was to never fall in love with a demon, but I suppose Hades and Dione were in love much to my annoyance, Hades had forbidden Dione to ever come back to Olympus.
But that didn't stop her from giving her child to me, The council was livid by the half demon child and wanted her to be sent back to the underworld, but I saw something in Aphrodite's eyes that day that I thought I would never see.
Love.
I saw so much love simmering in her eyes and I knew I couldn't give her back to Hades, he would turn her into a monster and I could not let that happen so I raised Aphrodite as my own, yes I told her about her true parents when she was old enough to understand but she said she understood why her mother gave her away.
Aphrodite has a good heart but when she is angry, all hell would break loose it is one of the many reasons I forbid her to use her powers on the poor girl.
Everyone deserves love, even the demons of the underworld that's why I revoked my rule about not falling in love with demons.
But as I look into Heavens innocent blue eyes I couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor girl.
I really hope Aphrodite isn't to mean to her like Hades is with Dione.
