You smiled at Stefan as he offered his hand. He had just placed his phone on the speaker dock and played sweet songs. He placed a hand on your waist as he held the other. You slow danced with him, the music filling the room. "And what's are we doing?" You asked, looking at him with loved filled eyes. "We're dancing." He grinned. You laughed and rolled your eyes. "Why are we dancing?" You asked. "Because I saw this beautiful girl who's bored and I thought, it's a wonderful opportunity to twirl her around." He answered.

You smiled at him and pecked his lips. "And plus, Damon's not here." He pointed out, raising an eyebrow. "The presence of my best friend isn't that bad." You said. "Yeah, but then we won't be able to do this." He said and leaned down to you, kissing you softly. You giggled against his lips. "You're right." You said, narrowing your eyes at him. He chuckled and brought you closer to him.

"You're too sappy, Stefan." You said and he chuckled. "I thought you didn't mind that, in fact, I think you love it." He said, narrowing his eyes. You laughed. Oh how your laugh sounded like music to his ears. "Okay, I admit, you make me swoon with your hopeless romantic-ness." You said and this time, he laughed.

"If Damon were here, he would be knitting his eyebrows at us and grimace at your sappiness." You said. "True, but you and both know that deep inside he's also Mr. Romantic." He said. You nodded. "He just doesn't admit it even though we already saw it." You added.

You rested your head in his chest and let go of his hand to wrap them around his neck. He moved his arms and rested them in your waist. A Thousand Years by Christina Perri then played. You pulled away slightly and looked at him. "That's phone isn't it?" You asked with a small smile. "It might be." He whispered.

Heart beats fast, colors and promises. How to be brave? How can I love when I'm afraid to fall?
But watching you stand alone, all of my doubt suddenly goes away somehow. One step closer.

He looked at you as if you were the only thing in the room, the only girl who ever existed, the only one who truly loved him. He smiled at how your eyes twinkled back at him, your lips curling to the smile smile he always loved to see every single day, night, hour, minute, and second.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more.

"Have I told you I love you?" He asked. "You have, all the time actually." You answered and he smiled, closing his eyes, swaying with the rhythm as he held you to his arms. "And I still can't believe it has been so long." He murmured. You nodded. "But I can't wait to look into the future and see what's in store for us."

Time stands still. Beauty in all she is. I will be brave, I will not let anything take away what's standing in front of me. Every breath, every hour has come to this, one step closer.

"You were there for me on my lowest, Stef, and I was there on yours, I think we're ready to see the future." You said. "Exactly why I married you on that very day when you lifted me up from my lowest point." He said and smiled. "Still feels like yesterday." You giggled. "It does." He agreed.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more.

And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more.

"I remembered when you walked down the aisle towards me in your simple white dress, holding your favorite flowers. I smiled, a few tears going down my cheeks." He smirked. "Damon had to pat my shoulder to cut me out of staring at you when you reached me." He added and you giggled. "It was you and me, and Damon. The three of us since 1860." He said and you nodded.

One step closer.

One step closer.

He closed the distance between your lips and you smiled. He sped to his room and laid you do in bed. He leaned down and kissed you, seemingly sweeter than the last one, sweeter with every kiss he gives you after. Your clothes seemed to have disappeared in the process and he was touching you everywhere.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more.

He held your hand and kissed you as he entered you, filling you up the way he always did. You moaned and arched for him and he kissed your neck, trailing up to your face.

And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years.

"I'll love you for a thousand more." He whispered with a smile. You giggled at his sweetness and let yourself be engulfed with the bubble that seems to always form when you're with him. You moved with him, holding on to him as you breathed with each loving thrust he gave. You loved when he made love to you.

He kissed down the valley of your breast and he settled in between your parted knees, rocking his hips to you and you gasped. You both were near the edge of your orgasm and with a scream of his name, you came around him, dragging him along with you. He leaned down, slowing down his movements, and kissed you, long and passionate.

"Happy anniversary, I love you." He whispered with a smile. "Happy anniversary, my love. And I love you, I'll love you for a thousand more." You replied, pecking his lips.
