My Real Teen Pregnancy Story

Today's the day, my first day back to High School. It'll be so much different this year than last. Not because I am now a Junior nor the fact that we have a new principle meaning new rules this year. It's going to be way different because I'm pregnant. I'm only sixteen, hell I'm just a kid, how am I suppose to raise one?

My alarm went off at 6:00 this morning and after hitting the snooze button on my IPhone I finally get up and begin to get ready. I start off with a steamy hot shower then move on to my make up while I let my hair air dry. I have long curly blonde hair that I'm thankful for in the mornings, because I don't have to do really anything to it which means I get to sleep a little longer! I always am prepared so i put on the clothes I set out last night for me to wear. It's a beautiful dress, not too fancy but not too dull either. Just perfect for my first day. It's an aqua blue, turquoise, and sparkly light green dress that really makes my eyes pop! I top it off with a neckalace, my boyfriend gave me for Valentines Day, slightly big earrings, and my sparkeling silver sandals, that I like to call Jesus shoes.

I have yet to tell any of my friends or family about my pregnancy yet. I think it's too soon and I just haven't found the right time yet. I'm not even showing and wont be for another couple of months. I did, however, inform my boyfriend of it tho. Seeing how his life is going to be changing dramatically as well. He's already had to start saving up. We both know a baby cost alot of money.

It was two weeks ago when I laid the news on Lee. We pulled into the grocery stores and I was driving his new Chevy. I had known for a week now and I just didn't know how to tell him but when I pulled into Ingles it just hit me. I knew I was ready to speak the words "I'm pregnant" quit yet so I just pulled right into a parking space that said " expecting mothers only". I put the truck in park and then Lee finally said " baby, we can't park here. Didn't you read the sign?" he knew I was late on my period so it only took him about 30 seconds to put it all together and as soon as he did I just started bailing before he even said anything. He undid my seatbelt and pulled me into a hug. He held me and then I felt his tears begin to fall as well. There was no doubt on my mind that he was going to stick around. That's just how he is. We have been dating for nearly 7 months now and he really does love me. I guess it makes out situation a little easier to deal with.
