Get-together gone wrong

"'Oh let's all sit on the bed' she said, 'It'll hold us all' she said." I vented behind gritted teeth, trying my best not to move my elbow as Dylan handed me some ice.

"I'm sorry, Megan! I didn't know it was going to do that!" M.K whined. If this was an anime I'm sure she'd have tears streaming down her face.

Alright, so. My friends and I decided to have a small get together, as the Easter holiday was slowly reaching its end, and we ended up having it at M.K's house. We were all having fun, playing Stranger Things Monopoly (Didn't even know that was a thing until today) and Never have I ever. Until Jess, being the horror fanatic she is, decided we should watch a horror movie. I've never watched a horror movie before, so I was kinda against it at first... Buuut the vote was five against one... GREEAAAAT.

So anyway, M.K suggested we watched it in her room, saying her bed was way more comfortable than her quote-unquote 'smelly old couch', and we agreed. But then, just as a jumpscare was about to happen, and we were getting hyped up about it...

Literally, the planks collapsed, causing half of the mattress to fall through. The half I was sitting on. My friends thought it was hilarious. But me... Well, I was too busy cradling my busted elbow to laugh. It bashed into the bed's railing as I fell through the bed. And worst of all, Dylan; M.K's brother I had just met that day had to get me out of the because I was trapped. Seriously, awkward!

I sighed, releasing some of the tension I had in my shoulders "It's... fine. Things happen. It's just this particular thing reeaally really hurts..."

"Are you sure you're alright?" Jake asked worriedly, making me roll my eyes.

"Yes, mother."

"Yup," Ellie sighed "She's fine. If she was seriously hurt she wouldn't be such a sarcastic bitch."

"Oh God forbid..." Jess huffed, taking another swig of her WKD blue. We had tried getting it off her on multiple occasions, but eventually gave up and just let her drink her sorrows away. I mean, she's the legal drinking age, so I guess it's fine.

"Guess this is a sign we shouldn't watch horror, then." Dylan sighed.

"Maybe we should try doing something else?" Jake suggested.

"Oh!" Jess raised her hand "How about Spin the--"

"NO!" I shrieked.

"Oh that's right..." She rolled her eyes "You're still a lip virgin." (Translation: Hasn't kissed anyone in her life)

I blew a raspberry.

"Well... How about Prank calls?" Ellie suggested with a smirk, holding up her phone which already had her boyfriend's contact ready to dial.

We all smirked "Sounds good." Jake agreed
