If you were to pick a favorite number, what would you choose?
Kids would usually say they love the number 1. Why? They want to be on top.
Some just want to pick another number to be different. To avoid the mainstream crowd who just wants to rise on top.
Then there's me. That one kid who had a deep explanation as to why she picked her choice.
My choice was the number 3.
Mother used to tell me to imagine if the numbers were people.
One already had all the glory and was convinced that he didn't need anyone else.
Two were lovers who couldn't stand the thought of being separated from each other.
Then there was three who no longer had anyone bridge the gap of being left alone by the two people he loved the most.
"Mommy, I'd love to accompany Mr.Three so that we would no longer be lonely," I told my mother.
