"vilmore!" finn's voice came floating through the trailer, and grace flung open the door to find him glaring at her.
"what is this?" she accused him, flashing the brightly lit screen of her phone at him.
he shrugged. "don't know what you're talking about. we're cast members. that's it."
grace narrowed her eyes at him. "don't throw my own words back at me! i don't care if you and kase's thing was a publicity stunt or whatever, you still did it. she was drunk and you fucked her up. so i don't want anything to do with you! all you care about is yourself and your stupid rock band and your stupid image!"
she leaned in close to him. "and you aren't going to fuck with me or my best friend. so go to hell."
she might have imagined it, but she thought she saw his eyes flick down to her lips and back before his a shadow crossed over his expression.
"kase is my best friend too." he retorted, his voice sharp. "she came out to me way before she came out to you. you dumped her on her ass, and left her, and now you hate that we're close because you despise me. get the hell over it, vilmore."
he stomped down her trailer stairs and called over his shoulder without looking back, "we're filming in five minutes, so you'd better get over there."
she watched him stalk away from her and over to kasey, slinging an arm around her shoulders and beginning a conversation.
she gritted her teeth. she didn't know how she was going to survive being on set day after day with a person as insufferable as finn wolfhard.
