(REGARDING SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
When making your character, perhaps you're slightly confused.
"What kind of skills can we have? Maybe I'm making mine too OP or too weak?"
To which I say, go ahead. But not too far, of course.
For example, there is a skill in the show, Zodiac War, named 'Non-Reload'
It enables it's user to posses the ability to never have to reload their guns and have an INFINITE supply of ammunition.
That may seem quite OP, but depending on your character, maybe they'd be put at a disadvantage when going against someone who has a countering skill.
So go wild with your ideas! And remember, everyone has a weakness that someone can counter, and right from the bat; no one knows your power unless you show it or tell it to them.
