Jessica didn't want Edna to get into trouble or worse so she pottered about in the house and in the garden all day. That night she was on her laptop and she began her investigation.
Killgrave arrived home and he has a cut on his face. Made from fingernails.
"Edna, first aid. Now."
"What happened to you?" Jessica said resting up against the door frame. In her hand was a cup of coffee.
Killgrave didn't answer. He held out his hand to reveal a bag. Jessica took the bag and looked inside. She gave him a small scoff and a little smile.
"Keeping me hostage here just got a little more bearable"
Jessica pulled out two bottles of whiskey from the bag and waved them in the air. She walked into the kitchen to pour herself a glass. Sipping it slowly (Unusual for her) She watched Edna clean up his face.
"So, Are you going to tell me what happened or am I to guess?"
"You will know when you know" Killgrave said all cryptic.
"Helpful. Anyway I have a case so I need to let out tomorrow. if that is okay with you" Jessica said sarcastically as she downed the last gulp of her drink.
"A Case?" He said lifting one eyebrow
"You will know when you know" She mocked leaving the room.
"Well played Jessica. Well played."
