Until I Met You

Chapter 22

Jacob's P.O.V.

After we were done with all the funny video's of Dymond family, I stole her away for the day to go on a walk in the park. I know it sounds like something a couple would do on TV but some stuff in movies can be done in the real world. 

I wasn't to concerned about this bastard touching Dymond, but I was concerned at the same time. I heard the beginning of their conversation but, I thought she was talking to one of her aunts to I just left it alone. Then she told me what was really going on and I got a bit angry. I was cool though, I didn't let one thing ruin my day. I bought her an ice cream and that was a mistake. She was jumping around everywhere. I mean it was funny as hell but people were staring, I wasn't embarrassed though.

" That's what happens when I have sugar! " She yelled.

" Remind me to never give you sugar then. " I laughed and she smiled.

We kept walking, talking, laughing, everything. I love this girl so much, she's the moon that I talk to. The phone I stare at everyday. The smile I see in the mirror when I smile. When the day was over, and the sun was just setting. I pulled her on top of a rooftop of a building and we watched it set. Now this is definitely something I'd see in a movie. Our feet dangled off of the roof but I held on to my baby like she was the last thing on earth. Jason went home, I gave him specific instructions on what he needs to do instead of stare at a screen and push buttons. He wasn't sure that it'd work but I knew it'd work, he was going to get lucky tonight. 

" Hey, what would you say to me being a marriage counselor? " I asked Dymond and she laughed, I was serious though.

" I would say, chase your dreams. Be what you want. But, why do you want to be a marriage counselor? " She asked.

" I don't know, it just came to me. I think I'll stick to being a mechanic though. " I laughed.

" You're so random. " 

" I know. Lets go, its getting dark. " I said and she nodded. We walked back home and it wasn't a bad night. The moon was at its fullest. Crickets were talking their asses off. Squirrels were running around. It was nice. We finally made it to Kim's house and it was darker then the sky outside. Then a light flicked on and Lizzy was sitting in a chair with her arms folded over her chest.

" You two were out late. " Audriana said coming from the kitchen. 

" We went for a walk. " Dymond stated.

" That was a long ass walk. " Kim said, sitting on the couch.

" Yeah, we um, watched the sunset. " I said.

" The sun set two hours ago. " Eiva said, sitting on another couch.

" We were on a roof and Jacob was scared to jump. " Dymond lied and I rolled my eyes. I've jumped off roofs so many times I don't even have to jump, I just stand by the edge and I'm on the ground instantly.

" Oh well that explains. So how was it? " Kinya said. Dymond and I gave them a flat look and sighed.

" It was nice and fun. " Dymond said, I smiled. 

" Awe, Jacob you're so sweet. " Terra said.

" Thanks, I try. " I said and they laughed. I'm glad Dymond's family accepts me. It's a nice feeling.

" Well you kids go get some sleep, see you in the morning. " Audriana said and we headed upstairs. We walked into our room, it smelt horrible. Dymond stepped out immediately. 

" What is that god awful smell? " Kim asked walking in, then she stepped backward out. 

" Alvin. " Dymond whispered, I turned to glare at her.
