Dymond's  P.O.V.

I woke up feeling nothing but the cold air on my body. My hands searched the sheets for my beloved mate but all they ever found were sheets. I slowly opened my eyes and frowned. There was a note on his side of the bed. I opened it and it read,

' Goodmorning baby. I'll be back before you can miss me. I love you so much.

                                                                                                                 ~ Jacob.

I set the note back on his pillow and frowned. I already miss him. I didn't want to get out of bed, and face the world that was behind the doors.

I sat up and looked around in my room. There were rose pedals everywhere. I smiled and got out of bed. I went to the bathroom and immediately dropped the t-shirt I was wearing. I hopped in the shower and smiled closing my eyes due to the pleasure of the water pounding on my body. I opened my eyes and grabbed the soap.

I got out the shower and quickly dried myself off. I slipped on Jake's grey sweat pants and a red tank top. I put on my black jacket and made sure my hair looked okay before heading out the door with my purse. I went downstairs and spotted Monica on the couch watching TV.

She smiled at me, " Good morning sunshine."

" Good morning, I haven't seen you in so long." I hugged her.

"Jacob told me you were going to wake up at this exact time, so let's go." she said, pulling away.

"Where are we going?" I asked, as she dragged me out of the house.

"Shopping, this house is empty. I was thinking we could hang up some paintings. Oh! Maybe we could put a vase right there on the shelf then put little loose flowers in it. Yeah, that's look beautiful. Let's go! We have so much to do!? she pulled me into her car. I sat in the front seat, snapping on my seatbelt. She started the car and we were off to any store or mall that she was looking for. I was so looking forward to decorating the house! I think we should get a new dining set. Maybe golden brown would be good. She turned on the radio and switched the stations a biut until she found a song. It was Adore You - Miley Cyrus I smiled happily and we sang along to the song quietly.

"Has my son been treating you right?" She questioned.

I giggled, "Yes, we went on a date yesterday. He took me roller skating. It was so romantic." I gushed.

"Awe! I'm so happy he's settled down. Chad too, him and his mate plan on getting married right after they graduate. Oh how I love love." she smiled. That reminded me so much of Lizzy. I miss her.

"Where's Grace?" I asked.

"Back here." her little squeaky voice said from the back seat. I turned around and laughed.

"Were you there the whole time?" I asked.

" Yes, I can't wait for us to redecorate. The house looks like an old fairy tale." she said seriously.

It does not, it looks like my fairy tale. I like it, though it does need some work." I smirked.

"Mom, I love her." Grace stated.

"I love her too." Monica says.

"Awe, I love you guys too." I blushed. I'm glad Jacob's family accepts me. It's a great feeling. I still have yet to meet Ashley though. Jacob says she'll be coming next weekend. I can't wait.

"Do you think Ashley would love her?" Monica asked Grace.

"What's not to love about Dymond? I'm sure Ashley will love her, Ashley loves everything." she smiled. We arrived at Art Van. Monica shut off the car and we all got out, we headed inside and it was freezing! I zipped up my jacket and put my hands in my pockets. We walked around a bit before we got to actually see things that'd match the house. The house was red brick, and the inside walls were painted a faded blue. We were only decorating the bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. Sure it'll take a while but I'm expecting that.

I picked up an light blue lamp that'd look great in the living room. "I like this, I think we should get it." I said, Monica turned around from looking at shower curtains and smiled. She walked over to me and s the lamp. "You have good taste." she admitted. I smiled, "Thanks, my aunt says I get it from her."miled

"We are so getting this. When can we meet your family?" she asked.

"Honestly, I have no idea. I'm hoping graduation." I said.

"Ah, graduation. I can't wait until Jacob graduates, I'll see him walking across the big black stage with his cap and gown on. Smiling widely and shaking hands with important people, then he'll get his diploma, and we'll be crying tears of joy." she smiled, looking up as if she already had seen everything happen.

"I can't wait until I graduate. I think I'd be the second best day of my life." I smiled.

"What's the first?" Grace asked.

"Finding out that I actually loved Jacob." I blushed.

"You are so sweet, that just made my day." Monica smiled happily.

"What day was it!? What day was it!?" Grace asked, jumping up and down.

"My birthday." I mumbled, she hugged me tightly.

"I can't wait until he marries you. Then we'll be actual sisters I've always wanted a sister that didn't live in another state." she said, pulling away.

"We're already sisters. You're like my best friend." I smiled and she nodded. Monica had tears in her beautiful blue eyes that Jacob inherited.

"Oh how I love the fact we all love Dymond. I couldn't imagine what it'd be like if we never met." she said, blinking away her tears.

We bought a bunch of stuff. Things for the kitchen, such as a table cloth and cup holders and dishes. Of course we moved stores, we went from buying a lamp and a new bedroom set, to buying couch pillows and flowers. From buying paint to buying paintings.

Finally we made it home, and Jacob was still gone. I frowned mentally but just kept walking. We got everything in the house and then started rearranging the living room. We put everything on one side of the room and then we started laying down a bunch of news paper on the floors to keep the floor nice and unpainted. Then, we began painting the walls yellow mustard. It was beautiful. We decided that the house would be faded blue and mustard yellow. I like it really. Grace and I painted every other wall mustard yellow while Monica worked on the stair case. After we were done painting, took forever, we moved upstairs to let the paint dry. Monica and I did the bedrooms while Grace did the bathroom.

After we were done with the kitchen, we had to evauate the house to let the house to let the paint dry. We went to lunch then did a little shopping for ourselves. I bought a neon dress that went perfectly with the black heels I have back home.

We left the mall after buying new window curtains, which were mustard yellow.

We went back home and hung them up, the rerearranged the living room, by now the paint was dry. It smelled like cotton candy, strawberry flavored. The place looked amazing. It looked, great. I wonder what Jacob will think about it. Monica and Grace left murmuring about how they needed to catch up on their sleeping. I went upstairs and showered. My face was half way covered in paint along with my clothes. I got out the shower and put on a t-shirt along with thin pajama pants.

I sat downstairs on the couch. I looked around at the walls and the paintings and just everything. There was a quiet knock at the door, I smiled hoping it was Jacob. I got up off the couch and opened the door. Jaylin stood in the doorway. I let him in and he sat on the couch.

"What's up?" I asked, sitting next to him.

"I like what you did with the place." he smiled.

"Jaylin, what's wrong?" I asked, realizing how sad he sounded.

"Dymond, it's about Jacob." he murmured.

"What about him?" I asked.

"He's in the hospital." he said. My jaw dropped, tears filled blured my vision and I felt like I was already dying.

"What happened?" I asked, letting the tears fall.

He took a deep breath before whispering, "He's been shot."
