"What is that?!," I said with alarm in my voice.
"This would be my newest companion! Kill!"
The beast charged at me and knocked me down. I didn't know what to do, so I ran, and jump up to the landing above my head. First thing's first. I pulled back my bow and aimed it at the doctor, but he was gone. He left the creature to do his dirty work. It charged at me, yet again, and I hit it with my dagger, but it didn't do anything. I had one last trick up my sleeve.
It all happened so fast. Faster than I expected. I froze the creature, right where it stood. Then, I pulled back my bow and shot it. It cracked into pieces and fell to the ground.
"Good work, Tenno. Get to extraction."
"What about Tengus?"
"The coward has most likely fled by now. That would explain why he left his pet to take care of you."
"Understood," I said wearily.
"Tell Ordis to bring in the ship. I'm done here."
I heard the AI's voice, "Already on my way, operator!"
There was shooting behind me, and it was high time to get out of here. Tengus was on the run, but one last thing protruded my thoughts. Vor. He's here.
