chapter 2: A New Story

That night my phone was blowing up. I got 28 texts in three minutes. I was so annoyed. I wanted to block them, but Dez said that you just need to play hard to get. So I'm not allowed to answer.

"My little nothing is all prepped up!" Des whispered, "Girls, We've worked so hard for this!"

"Help me!" I shouted

Des didn't give a crap about how much this annoyed me. All she told me was to deal with it. I had to lock my phone in a safe to keep it quiet.

I couldn't sleep.

For the first time ever I really missed my old life, my life where I had my parents. I finally decided that I would write them a letter. They probably forgot about me by now. About three hours later I looked at the clock. It was 12:55 p.m. I really had to get to bed. After all I only had three days till the dance & I need beautyrest. I slowly fell into a deep sleep.

I woke up with an angry look on my face. Who would wake me up at like 9 am? As I looked up I saw him,

Justin: Hey babe

Kat: HI! What are doing here?

Justin: Your friends left the door open so I thought I would surprise you with this,

He pulled out a knife.

Kat: What are you doing!?

Justin: Oh, you think I was gonna give you flowers or a diamond ring. No, no, no, I never loved you. You don't deserve anyone, who would want such a worthless piece of garbage.

He brought the knife to my heart and stabbed me.

I woke up screaming.

Nathalie ran in with a tiered but worried look on her face."What's going on!" Nathalie yawned with a tired but worried look on her face.

"Sorry," I began to cry, "I h-h-had a b-ad drea-m"

"If you want I could sleep in your room," She began to smile, "we could have a sleepover!"

I nodded my head and she rushed to her room to get her stuff.

I woke up with a smile on my face. Nathalie and I had played games, binge watched our fave tv shows and gossiped. Nathalie was the only person who understood me.

All of a sudden Dez ran in freaking out.

"What did you do to my face," She howled, "You two are in so much trouble"

Oh I forgot that we did a few pranks on Dez. We drew a devil on her face and wrote "this is the real me". At least we didn't lie. We decided to put a fake bug in her makeup bag too.

We didn't prank Nikki, she hasn't done anything to us so why make her suffer. Dez can be self centered and she tends to freak out over nothing.

Nikki entered still half asleep, "What did I miss?" she asked in her goofy morning voice.

Nikki had a fluffy blanket wrapped around her so you couldn't see her unicorn onesie. Her hair was messy and her face was all natural.

We all laughed when Nikki looked at Dez. Dez just stood there trying not to laugh with us. Finally, she broke out. We all grabbed pillows and started to hit each other. All of a sudden someone came through the door.

"Headmistress Faren?!" We all said in unison.

"Good day girls," She said, "Kat, I have been informed that a special visitor is waiting for you in the main office."
