"Wednesday, go upstairs and check on your cousin," Morticia said.
Wednesday nodded her head obediently and climbed the stairs to Marie's room, her braids bobbing up and down with each sharp stomp.
"It's Wednesday," she said, knocking on Marie's door and walking in.
Marie scurried to cover up the bruises and scars on her body. Wednesday furrowed her dark eyebrows in concern.
"Where did you get those scars and bruises from?" she asked.
"Oh... I fell down the stairs," Marie replied trying to hide the truth.
"Those aren't from falling down the stairs. I pushed Pugsley down the stairs last week. He didn't have anything that bad," Wednesday argued.
Marie chuckled awkwardly.
"Marie... I need to know the truth," Wednesday gently demanded.
"Fine. Truth is, my father gave me those bruises. He beats me," Marie confided.
"He what?!" Wednesday roared.
"H-he beats me," she stuttered.
"I heard you. But why?"
"He tells me he wishes I was dead. He thinks I'm a mistake who should've never been born."
"Wow..."
"I know. But, you can't say ANYTHING to anybody about this."
"I need to tell my parents! We need to get you away from him!"
"But..."
"No buts, let's go tell Mother and Father," Wednesday declared grabbing Marie's hand.
Wednesday hugged Marie, who was on the verge of tears. They walked down the stairs hand in hand.
"Mother, Father, can Marie and I speak to you...alone?" Wednesday hinted at her other family members, trying to make them leave. They complied and walked away.
Gomez furrowed his brows. "Why not?" He exclaimed.
"Marie what is going on?" Morticia asked her.
Marie looked at Wednesday for assurance, she nodded back at her.
"My dad beats me. He wants me dead. But not in the good way," she explained.
Morticia's eyes widened a little more than usual. Gomez frowned.
"What a terrible excuse for an Addams. My own brother. Beating his child! I can't believe this, to think that all these years I've been wrong about him," Gomez shouted.
This made Marie jump.
"Mi amouré, you must calm down," Morticia said.
"I know, Tish. I apologize, Marie," Gomez apologized.
"Marie, come with me. I want to see where he hurt you," Morticia ordered, wrapping her arm around Marie leading her to her boudoir.
"Show me where he hurt you," Morticia said.
Marie lifted her shirt showing Morticia the marks on her body.
"Oh! Ma chéri," Morticia exclaimed. "I have just the thing." She brandished a vile of bacitracin from a shelf. She rubbed a little on Marie's body.
Marie screeched in pain.
"It's going to feel like that at first. Don't worry it will feel good soon. When you're an Addams, you get used to these things," Morticia said.
Wednesday chuckled as she walked in. "I used it on Pugsley after I pushed him down the stairs last week. He screamed so much, so I put Icy-Hot on him."
"There. Now, do you want something to eat?" Morticia asked her niece.
"Wait! What if he comes back and hurts me! He told me that if I revealed anything going on that he would kill everyone" Marie exclaimed in fear
Morticia didn't know what to say. "I think I have a plan."
Marie was scared. She knew that her parents were going to be there the next morning to pick her up. Back to hell.
"Gomez. We have a problem," Morticia announced.
"I know. My brother," he said.
"Yes. But Marie is also having problems."
"Yes. My brother!"
"Gomez!"
"What is the problem?"
"Your brother. She is worried that he is coming back for her."
"Oh. I see the problem."
"We need a plan. And I think I have one."
"And?" Gomez interrogated.
"And, a trap! That trap you built for our wedding."
"Mi amouré! That's a brilliant idea." Gomez exclaimed embracing his love.

TIME SKIP TO NEXT MORNING AFTER BREAKFAST

The next morning after breakfast, everyone was sitting in the family room. Morticia cutting her roses, Gomez reading a book, and Wednesday and Pugsley playing Chertik, Chertik, and Marie sitting with Fester playing chess.                      "Auntie Morticia, where are my bags?" Marie asked.
"I packed them away," Morticia said placing the rose stems in a vase of dirty water.
"But, why? I have to go back home today," she said.
"No..."
Marie shrugged and continued playing chess. A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Morticia put down her scissors and stared at Gomez and nodded her head. She waltzed to the door and greeted Solomon and Ophelia. Ophelia was Morticia's sister who desperately tried to be her. She was even hot for Gomez.
"Hello," Morticia said.
"Where's the girl?" Solomon demanded.
Marie appeared from behind Morticia.
"You mean the child you beat?" Morticia said cocking her head and widening her eyes.
Solomon squinted suspiciously at the tall woman staring down at him with intimidation.
"Get in the car. Now!" Solomon yelled at Marie.
Marie followed before Morticia could stop her.
"No. Marie you're staying here," Morticia said.
Solomon flushed with anger as he grabbed Marie by the wrist and picked her up over his shoulder. As he tried to reach the hearse, Lurch appeared.
"AnnGuuhNNNgh," Lurch growled.
Solomon ran the other way into the house. Morticia put out her foot, tripping him on the steps. Marie ran upstairs, Solomon quickly chasing, barely on his feet. A lever pulled, caging him in the foyer of the Addams' residence. He tried to escape through the bars of the cage before Wednesday pushed a button electrocuting him
.
"I'm sorry. I may be mistaken but I think you thought you were going to escape," Wednesday said.
Solomon yelped out when the shock wore off.
"You're a sorry excuse for an Addams. You pedazo de mierda," Gomez snarled.
Solomon collapsed in the cage. Breathless, ice cold, and lacking life.
"He's dead," Pugsley announced.
"He looks so beautiful like this," Ophelia whispered holding her face.
"Ophelia. Did you know? Or were you clueless as usual?" Morticia asked nonchalantly.
Ophelia glared at her taller, much more poised sister.
"I knew. What was I to do but help him!" Ophelia said dramatically.
Gomez and Morticia looked at each other and nodded, somehow reading each other's minds. Morticia walked over to Ophelia with her perfect posture. With a sudden look of death, Morticia took her hand across Ophelia's face. Marie creeped downstairs to see what was happening, a new bruise on her cheek from where Solomon had hit her.
"Marie, darling, tell them I never hurt you in any way," Ophelia ordered Marie.
"I'm sorry Mother, but you taught me one thing. Never tell a lie. And I would be lying if I said that," Marie snapped back.
Ophelia widened her eyes, her face turning red, a sudden rage appearing on her face.
"Don't speak to me that way!" Ophelia yelled grabbing Marie's wrist. She started hitting her, knocking her to the floor. Marie started gasping for air, tears in her eyes.
Morticia grabbed her sister by her ginger hair.
"Get off of her!"
"Where is my brother?" Gomez shouted.
Morticia whiplashed around. "What?"
"He's gone."
Ophelia laughed. "That's why I married him. He's a smart man!"
Morticia turned around to punch her sister in the throat. Ophelia started to choke before collapsing to her knees, a blue tint to her pale face. Morticia stomped on her throat one more time to make sure she was really dead. Ophelia was no longer to be feared. She was gone.  Morticia slipped off her heels to tend to her niece.
"It's ok Marie. You're here with me now," Morticia comforted.
Marie couldn't say anything. All she did was shake, staring at her mother's lifeless corpse.
