Toni POV I sat down at my desk waiting for Beyoncé to come in. I was finishing up some paperwork for Michelle. I am now her legal guardian. Beyoncé walked in extremely slow. She has to have the worst poker face. There was obviously something she was hiding. Know her she would admit to it on her own so I ignored it.
" I only bought you in here because I didn't want Jay to hear. We won the case and they locked up her father. Belle has to testify so we will all be there to support her." A wave of relief came over Bey's face.
"That's it??" She asked hopeful. I nodded and she walked out of the room. Yeah I'm going to find out what it is.

I finished lighting the last few candles as there was a knock on the door. He didn't even use his key. Tonight was all planned out. Candles everywhere and I prepared his favorite meal. Anything romantic I could think of was in this room. I even had back up options just in case. I was a nervous wreck but I needed to get myself together. I smoothed down my dress letting out a long breath.
I opened the door to reveal Dwayne behind it. He looked ready to go already so I knew I had to work fast. It took a world of convincing to get him to even show up. He was firm in not forgiving me but this time I was serious about us and I wanted him to know that.
"Uh are you going to let me in?" I snapped out of my trance to realize I was just staring at him.
"Oh! Y-yeah of course." Dwayne walked in and took a seat a the table. I went into the kitchen and grabbed the food. We ate in silence for about 5 minutes.
"So are you going to talk or do I need to leave?" Dwayne asked. I had planned this moment over and over again in my head. What I would say, what I would do. But it seemed my mind went blank when I opened that door.
"I-I first want to acknowledge what I did to you and apologize. Stringing you along knowing I didn't want to commit was wrong. Even though it was because I was scared I understand that. I was also right because you are the best thing that's happened to me and I need, want you around. I can't change the past but I want you to be in my present and future. So please baby take me back." I know I sounded desperate but sometimes you have to let yourself be vulnerable. He looked at me for a second then chuckled and shook his head.
"You say you want me all the time but I know that it's only behind doors I want to be your man not just your best friend and you don't want that." He stood up walking to the door. I quickly got up running to him.
"Baby please don't go. I'm serious this time. I love you. I'm in love with you. I wanna be with you." A tear slipped I was convinced it was over.
"Nah Gabbie not this time." He moved out of my grasp and left. I sighed trying to be content with reality. It was really over. I turned around getting ready to clean. I might as well to take my mind off it.
The door suddenly opened. Dwayne stormed in grabbed my waist and pressed a forceful kiss on me. It seemed to last for ever, us battling for dominance. He pulled away and grinned at me.
"You can't get rid of me." He said as I giggled. I could tell this would be a long long night.
Michelle POV
We decided to hang at the mall to celebrate me not being put in foster home. While everyone was in Journey's I went to the bathroom. Walking out the door to go find everyone I bumped into someone. Their clothes looked worn and dirty.
"Um sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." I leaned over to pick up their things like a toothbrush and bottles of water. "Here you go." I looked up. Seeing who it was I immediately threw his stuff back down.
"What the fuck are you doing here." I yelled. He had the nerve to show up here, let alone in public where everyone could see.
"Hey baby I've been looking for you. We gotta get out of here." My father grabbed my wrist trying to pull me along but I snatched back. He continued to tell me to come on but I wasn't having it.
"Get away from me." I gritted. He sighed.
"I don't have time for this." He grabbed my waist picking me up and I started to kick and and scream. He covered my mouth so I took that chance to bite and elbow him.
"Fuck!" He groaned letting go of me. That was my opportunity to run and I took it. Leaving out the bathroom hall I ran into Kelly she saw the frantic look on my face.
"Belle what happened?" I chocked on my words then I busted out crying. My worst nightmare was coming to reality and when it does I don't think I can handle it. A good day just turned for the worst.
