Boyfriend's polo, fitted jeans, and sneakers.
That completed my OOTD for my first day at Evergreen University.
Today marked as my first day of school. Hopefully, it wasn't as bad as my first day after coming back.
Evergreen was, by and large, the most prestigious school in the country. Where students who were born with silver spoons and bloods that belong to the wealthiest were accepted.
I wasn't sure if the university could provide the education that I needed. I saw it more like a financial institution than a university. School of luxury but not school of academic excellence. But I pray not.
The university was titanic. It was complete with amenities from gym, to track and field, olympic size pools, library, auditorium, amphitheater and too many to mention. It even had spa and Starbucks within the premise which I thought weren't necessary.
I was now on my 3rd year taking up Industrial Engineering. I loved Math unlike most people and just because I wanted to learn more about the corporate world, this was the field that I thought that would best suit me. I was just fortunate that Evergreen acknowledged most of the units I had finished at Ashton. I just needed to complete few more subjects to be a regular student.
Opal Building. Room 4a.
They couldn't hide their love for money. They even named buildings after precious stones.
I located my first class with ease. The class would start in fifteen minutes and I made sure to arrive earlier than required. I didn't want to be late on my first day.
I noticed there were few students inside. They looked at me as I sheepishly walked into the room. Evergreen had thousands of students and I thought people wouldn't pay much attention to newbies like me. But I thought wrong.
Even on my way to get here, people were looking at me distinctly, which was weird, but I didn't give much care about it anyway.
I took the empty chair near the window. I could sense that their sight never left me and everytime I caught their gazes, they just smiled sincerely. They all looked kind and harmless which gave me peace of mind.
Gene was also a student of this school but unfortunately, she had no class today so I needed to endure the day all alone. I knew in time I would able to gain friends. But for now, I needed to spend the day all by myself.
I focused my attention outside the window. Evergreen never failed to amaze me. I was astounded to see that the park lot was full of luxury and sports cars. Was there a freaking car show inside the school? Knowing that most of the people here were just students but the park lot was already screaming luxury. Who would say Philippines was a poor country? I shook my head to disagree.
"Finley?"
That caught my attention. The familiar voice stole my focus from the car park. I quickly searched for the owner of the voice.
I found him standing right beside me. His towering height required me to tilt my chin up only to see his face. He was smiling pleasantly while staring at me.
I had to swallow a bit after having a glimpse of his face. He looked more handsome with his clean cut hair-do fashionably styled. He was wearing cap when I first saw him so I was mesmerized to see him like this. He was an embodiment of handsomeness overload and his countenance was close to perfection.
He grabbed an empty chair and seated beside me facing my direction.
"It was nice to see you again. Do you have class here?" He questioned and the thrilling beam on his face never erased. I had never been self conscious my whole life but when he was around, I could never trust myself.
