I was told to entered the Principles office. I had the feeling of someone or something looking at me, I turned around and saw nothing.
''what are you looking at child! sit down''
This dark deep voice startled me in ways I never thought possible.
I hurried to the closest chair I saw.
''So you think you can shout at a teacher and be rude!?''
Principle.Chryser had an accent a strong one hard to understand, it sounded like a mix between Scottish, Canadian and german.
''I didn't mean to be rude I just was full of irritation because of the noise the students were making and without noticing, I directed that irritation at Ms.Bromley''.
''Telling the teacher to shut up and that she were irritating you, is not the best way to start your first visit to the principles office'', I thought about it, what he was saying and realised that he understood half of what I was talking about but that feeling ended when he came out with,''none the less you are in the wrong and I expected much more from one of this schools finest students.
This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable in my school and don't think for one second that you are going to get away with it!''
His words hit me like a dagger to the chest, why couldn't he just understand how I was just feeling crowded and was irritated by the noise.
''You may be one of the best but what you did was wrong so for your punishment ,you are going to have to stay after school today and clean up all of the reception rooms''.
I found it pointless to try and debate the reason as to why I should be let off so I just kept silent.
