sick

i was in the hospital
because i was really sick
i had to stay in the hospital
for a week.
you visited me everyday,
you brought me my
favorite snacks and drinks.
you sang me my favorite
songs. i cried at night
because i was so weak that
i couldn't get up to do
one simple thing.
