Falling for You

Chapter 8

He watched me with cautious eyes, sparkling with uncertainty. Was I falling for him? It's been about 4 weeks since I moved here and I definitely know I felt something towards him.

"Harry,"

"If you don't feel the same way it's okay, I want you to know how I feel though."

I simply nod and chew on my bottom lip.

"Harry, it's been one week since it happened and honestly I loved him a lot. I'm not going to lie and say I don't have growing feelings for you because I do, I just don't want these feelings to end up being rebound feelings. I honestly don't know what I'm trying to say here honestly." I chuckle before turning my gaze to him.

"But I do like you and I want to give us a shot."

His lips spread into a smile that goes from ear to ear. Dimples now etched in so deeply to his blushing cheeks and eyes sparkling with happiness. He seriously is beautiful.

A bubbly giggle escapes both our lips and he reaches for my hand.

"Well Renée, with that in mind, I'll definitely be seeing you soon." With that he leans over and places his perfectly plump lips against my heated cheek.

"Goodnight beautiful."

"Goodnight Harry." I duck out of the car hiding my Crimson cheeks from sight, then running back into my home.

"Okay so the beach party is being set this Saturday June 20th just a reminder and we have to go shopping for bathing suites." Ellie, Maddy, Jordan, chiara, Lara, and I sit on my bed discussing plans for this Saturday.

"Okay so we can so that later, all the decorations are still int basement. What are we going to do about food." We all groan in unison and flop onto our backs.

"Niall and I will probably just bring our own buffet honestly like I thought I ate a lot but that boy eats 10 times more than me." Maddy giggles while holding on to her flat stomach.

"We can just order pizza, maybe about 100 boxes or so and bring them to the beach. We can split up and buy some more snacks and everything."

"Nice thinking Ellie." Lara chimes in and the girls agree.

I feel a vibration in my pocket and pull out my phone.

Harry:

Hi Renée, sorry I haven't been able to chat. Finals 😝🔫

Me:

It's okay! I'm just working out the plans for Saturday I'm so excited 🙊

Harry:

That reminds me, I need a date and I was wondering if you would, oh so kindly, be my date for this Saturday 😁😳🙏

Chuckling I start to type my response before my phone disappears from my hand and into Jordan's.

"Well, well, well. Missy What do we have here?"

The girls huddle around my phone as I desperately try to take it back.

"HARRY IS TEXTING YOU?!" Jordan yells. All eyes lock with mine waiting for my reaction.

"Uh- well ya we went on a date yesterday an-"

"Details. Now." They all circle around me and I explain my date to them. I leave out that tiny little end detail were he confesses his likingness to me.

"Oh. My. God. Excuse me while I cry." Ellie sits up and pretends to swipe the false tears running down her face.

"Seriously though that is SO cute." Lara falls back onto my bed and Jordan hands me my phone.
