"Asahime-sama, this way!" I heard my brother call out to me, although his voice was front.
"Onii-san?" I called feeling worried. I got up from my spot on the tatami mat. Suddenly, fire had surround my room, and smoke had begun to fill the room.
I opened my eyes in surprise. "Oh, that dream again." I sighed, getting out of my futon and standing up. I grabbed my cherry-blossom colored bow and tied my hair up into a high ponytail, for convenience.
"I'm having that dream so much lately." I muttered with a sigh. I got dressed into a shorter pink kimono with lavender cherry blossoms decorating it, then put on sandals that were easy to move in.. I glanced over at my sleek black sword and picked it up, attaching it to my obi.
"They're going to find me here soon, better leave." I said to myself, leaving a small pouch of money by the futon. 'Don't want to trouble the guests.' I thought, as I climbed out the room's window. I heard two gruff voices and the owner's voice.
"Aah, I gave the owner trouble." I sighed, before hopping back inside through the window. "Can't they just leave these people alone?" I asked myself, as I walked out of the room and hurried over to the stairs.
"Ah, they brought more men." I muttered, taking out a shuriken. 'Let's see. four men. Three of them are carrying a sword and one's got a gun.' I thought, examining the situation. "I better get rid of the gun." I muttered. Carefully, I positioned myself so my aim could reach the man with the gun. I grunted, throwing the shuriken at his hand. "Wha-!?" he shouted in surprise while dropping the gun, too which I jumped over the railing and onto the ground.
"Leave this woman alone." I told them in a harsh voice. Doesn't hurt to try and scare them.
The boss, who had been following me for a while, laughed at me. "Girlie, we've been searching for you." he smirked. I mentally rolled my eyes, reaching for my sword. "Oh, we're about to be rich boss!" one of the other swordsmen laughed, making me want to hurl.
Man, I hate petty grunts like them.
"Alright then, if you think you can catch me." I grinned, running over to the man in front and using his shoulders to flip over him. I slid underneath the gun man and hit both the swords men with my elbows.
I grinned at them, running away. They followed me like the stupid bounty hunters they are. Unfortunately, I bumped into someone. "Ah, Kenshin!" I heard, along with a confused oro. I got up quickly, noticing the sword at his waist.
"Sumimasen, Samurai-san!" I apologized quickly, before continuing on with the same speed. Behind me, I could hear the boss's shouts. 'Ah, looks like he lost his henchmen.' I thought, while continuosly running.
Kenshin and Kaoru POV
"How rude, that ojou-san!" Kaoru huffed, crossing her arms. "She apologized, Kaoru-san, I don't think that counts as rude, does it?" Kenshin chuckled somewhat quietly to himself. "Oi, get out of the way you insolent civillians!" Kaoru turned her head to the voice, confused. "Kenshin, I think that man is chasing her." she pointed to the man that ran past him. Kenshin's eyes narrowed slightly. "Wait here, Kaoru-san. Please." he told her, before running after him. Kaoru watched him leave before sighing. "Always saving others, how like him." she giggled at her own joke.
Asahime's POV
That man just won't quit! I sighed, suddenly stopping. No use if I can't lose him. "Heh, you made a grave mistake, missy." he smirked at me once I turned around. I stared him in the eye, before reaching for my sword.
"Excuse me." I blinked, hearing a voice that sounded not one bit familiar. The boss turned around in confusion. The man that had confronted him had a scar on his face and orange hair in a ponytail.
I feel like i've seen him somewhere before? Ah, whatever.
"Oh, you want a piece of her bounty too, huh?" he smirked. "Bounty?" the man blinked. Oh great, now two different men are gonna tail my ass. Kami-sama must hate me.
"Haaa, you haven't heard? And you call yourself a samurai." he laughed as the man objected the idea that he was a samurai.
Now that I think about it, this could be my chance to get him off my tail! "This women is Asahime Shiori, better know as the Bloody Sakura! Her bounty is probably the biggest i've seen." the stranger turned his head to look at me.
Kuso, i'm in for it now!
"That's mighty rude of you, trying to hurt a woman." he pointed out. The boss's eyes widened, probably wondering why he wasn't trying to kill me.
He sneered, pulling out his sword. Oh, the boss got mad at someone other then me! I reached for my blade with a smirk. This guy seems innocent, so I might as well try to save him.
"Hey! Kuma-san!" I called, making him turn his head. My smirk widened and I drew my onyx-colored sword. I saw the stranger's eyes widened, but didn't think much of it.
Kuma smirked, readying his sword. "You finally giving into a fight, huh?" he laughed arrogantly, probably thinking he was gonna win.
I closed my eyes and breathed, before opening them again. "Don't blame me if you die." I smirked. "Haaah? You crazy wench!" he shouted, running at me.
Ahh, how slow. I yawned stepping out of the way. He crashed into a building, making me laugh. "I should start calling you Baka-san!" I joked. I heard him growl before he got up.
Suddenly, there was a crowd gathering around. The stranger that had interrupted was suddenly swallowed into the crowd.
Ah geez, I really need to stop doing this in villages. It attracts too much attention!
Kenshin and Kaoru POV
Kenshin was pulled into the crowd by Kaoru. "Geez, Kenshin! You made me wait to long!" she scolded him? "Ah well, this ojou-san's words delayed my return." he apologized, noting her sword in his mind. He had definitely seen that before somewhere.
"Eh, how is she fighting!? She just looks like a normal young girl!" Kaoru sputtered, watching the battle. "Don't judge a book by it's cover." Kenshin merely smiled, watching the battle with Kaoru. In any case, this ojou-san was impressive for her seemingly young age.
But not in a good way.
