Lillian looked at them closely, but Joseph took them from her hands. "I assure you, Chancellor, the woman in these photos are not her. The person who sent these to you have been dismissed through proper channels. We already have apologized to Dr. Cortez over what happened and the parties involved do not wish to have the case re opened."

"However, there are some complaints that Dr. Cortez acted beyond what is allowed of her in your university. She actually accused a Chancellor for lying, cheating and undermining of her character."

Lillian stiffened, she couldn't imagine how it could it could have reached home. "Oh? I was not made aware of the complaints. Made against Dr. Cortez." Joseph said and squeezed her hand.

Chancellor Seymour was looking at her, "Yes, a Chancellor Sweeny gave me a call a few days ago regarding your character. It seems your behavior in the university was quite questionable. It includes a lascivious relationship with a student? And also, you kept complaining about our students' workload whereas they are getting the same amount of work with the other students."

Lillian pursed her lips and looked at Dean Rogers, there was a resigned look on his face. "I see, Chancellor, I would like to request an hour to gather all of my evidences to justify the events that took place in England."

"Granted, I will give you an hour," The Chancellor and sighed.

Lillian immediately rose from her seat. She went to her office and went to her desk and fired up her computer. It took her a couple of minutes to find the files she needed and began to make her presentation. She glanced at Joseph and saw he was on the phone.

In within the hour, she was able to for, her defense. She carried her laptop with her and had Joseph carry the projector to the Chancellor's office. She set up the equipment and checked her appearance. She applied some powder and lip gloss much to Joseph's surprise. "I am ready now, Chancellor."

The man was about to assent when his secretary walked in along with the ten students, dressed in suits, he had called for. "I am sorry, sir, they must have heard that their professor was under fire."

"Did you call them?" The Chancellor demanded.

Lillian was about to deny when Heinrick spoke up, "No, Dr. Cortez didn't call us. We heard rumors that Dr. Cortez was in trouble."

"We all came in her defense," Trevor said.

Lillian couldn't suppress the smile and the pride that burst out from her chest. "I see," the Chancellor said. "Very well then please take your seats."

Then Joseph spoke, "Chancellor, I believe you're not aware but Chancellor Sweeny was relieved of his position a couple of months before the semester ended."

The man looked bewildered, "Why?"

"Because of the very same set of accusations you have presented. Dr. Cortez only did what she had to do in order to protect your students. They became victims of bullying when some people could not accept a few things."

"A few things?"

Joseph continued, "That Dr. Cortez is better than most of them, she is undoubtedly more beautiful than the lot of them. Her unusual teaching strategies worked well with her students."

Lillian blushed as everyone in the room looked at her. "Is that why she is in a relationship with a student? We all know she has an imaginary boyfriend."

Dean Rogers spoke. "Now Seymour, despite the fact that you cannot see the man, it doesn't mean he's not real."

"Well, I haven't seen the man. Most of the men in the engineering department are afraid to ask her out. Kept saying she has a man waiting for her." Seymour protested.
