"You need to surrender to the FBI."

The announcement surprised everyone in the room. Lillian looked at her brother who lost his mind. "What?"

"Don't scare your sister, she's pregnant," Keiko scolded. "What your brother means to say is that we're going to need legal assistance. It turns out the money that's being embezzled out of your companies' accounts are coming from several I.P. addresses."

"What can the FBI do to help us?" Joseph asked.

"To make arrests and to help us do the investigation faster, the new semester is opening and I am sure her ladyship is already swamped with applications from students who want to enroll under the new department," Keiko said.

"Keiko, please call me Lillian or Francis," Lillian said with a wince. "We're in America not in the middle ages in Europe."

"Yes, Lillian. So, what do you think?"

She glanced at her husband. He gave a nod his expression was grim. "My husband agrees," Lillian said.

Two hours later, cyber crime unit team looked at them dryly. "You are aware, Mr. James, that your wife is the one stealing your money?"

Andrew was looking at the timeline, "Yes, my sister has been stealing money from her future husband beginning from the period in her life when she spends more time sneaking out of the house at night so she could drive dad's car. Than staying at home doing her homework."

"Hey, I finished my homework before I snuck out," Lillian said defensively.

"Hence, sneaking out," Andrew pointed out.

Lillian sighed as she rolled her eyes. "The point is, agents. Accusing my wife is ridiculous. We also have scoured her office and she doesn't have the computer logs to accessing the company's mainframe."

"So, you're saying your wife is clean?" The agent said with a heavy sigh.

"Yes, she is clean. If you want to check her accounts feel free, but I will have to ask you my wife's bank statements will remain classified since she is a private individual. Despite her open and welcoming nature."

The FBI agents looked at the Marchioness, "Are we to assume that you will be renouncing your citizenship soon?"

Lillian glanced at her husband, "I guess I will have to. However, I do not think it will happen anytime soon. My husband assures me that we will be staying here in America since most of my work is here and he has told me we are to stay here until we have to assume the title. Since the Duke of Rockholme is still alive and very much healthy, I do believe my husband and I will be old and gray before we I renounce my citizenship."

"Will he be acquiring an American citizenship?" the other agent asked.

Lillian frowned and looked at the pair, "You two are becoming too nosy for FBI agents. Keiko, are you sure these are the best of the best?"

Keiko winced, "Sorry, professor, I assure you, Agents Tucker and Chase are the best in the field despite being the biggest gossip mongers. They just happen to love putting their noses in places where it doesn't belong."

The two agents blushed, then they happened to glanced at Lillian's brother. "Why won't he dig deeper? He's the best there is."

"I am not really interested in breaking the law," her brother replied casually.

The agent raised his eyebrow, "But we're guessing you already know, that is why you are not scrambling to prove your sister is innocent."

The siblings frowned, Lillian felt her temper rise, "If you are not interested in helping us in this case I am sure someone else will. How dare you accuse my brother. This is criminal offense!"
