Tomatoes POV.
It was early in the morning and they boy and I'm guessing Lettuce is too still sleeping. I wouldn't know if Lettuce is awake or not, besides we don't live together!
I was making breakfast but kinda started day dreaming so I ended up burning the bacon, oh well at least the baby enjoyed his food. I was day dreaming about how it has already been 1 week since we adopted that baby, and yet we still don't have a name for him yet. I'm out of ideas so I just curled back up on my bed. Also man, I'm glad its the summer so we don't have to deal with during school.
"Oh! I have a great idea! I think." I shouted not knowing how loud I have yelled, thank goodness it didn't make the baby wake up and cry.
I jumped out of my bed and got dressed out of my PJ's and went to brush my teeth. I then grabbed my key and went to Lettuces door.
Lettuces POV.
BANG BANG BANG
"GAHH!" I scurried off my bed expecting something bad happened to the baby, but it was hard for me to run because I did just wake up. I opened to door to see Tomato, she looked tired.
"I you know how we haven't picked a name for the child yet?" She said panting, I nod. "Well I have good idea to find a name!" She sounded pretty excited but I was still tired and without thinking like always I replied with "The internet?".
"Ugh we are not just gonna search up names for baby boys! Ugh." now she looked a bit mad, but that doesn't help the fact that I'm still tired. "Then what are we doing? Just wander outside going to shops and restaurants and stuff looking for inspiration?" I asked bluntly "Yes! Yes we are!" Tomato answered loudly.
"Oh uhh, ill be right back I got to go change" and I left to get ready. I happened to sigh even though to be honest I was actually pretty excited for this trip.
Tomatoes POV.
He closed the door behind him when he left... right in my face, gosh when will he learn his manners.
I left anyways to get the baby, thankfully Lettuce bought a stroller too. So I carefully pick up the baby, get him changed and put in the stroller. When I put him in the stroller he woke up but surprisingly didn't cry, instead he gave a big cute smile with a little chuckle.
I brought the stroller outside my room and saw Lettuce waiting by the exit, he gave a look that told me "slow poke". "Hmph".
We made our way outside and the baby started to point and laugh at a ramen restaurant across the street.
"I think he wants to go there" Lettuce assumed. "Alright then lets go!".
We made our way across the street to the restaurant and got a table. We ordered some food and waited like for 10 minutes just like every other restaurant I've ever been to.
Finally the food came and Lettuce started to gobble up his food like a pig, ew gross "Lettuce! Eat more properly there is other people here!" I whispered over to him. "I can't help it! I didn't have breakfast this morning!" He whispered back. I sighed and shared my food with the baby.
He ate some food and I said "this called Ramen" point at my noodles, and then the cutest thing happened. Surprisingly the baby boy replied with "Ra- Ra- Ra-Men... Ramen! Ramen!" Me and Lettuce stared at the boy and I can feel other people were watching as well, "You said your first word! Congratulations!"
And a idea struck right through my head. "I know what we can name him Lettuce!" I squealed but he just replied with "what" ugh whatever "How about Ramen?"
