Chapter 3: Quirk Apprehension Test

"You've gotta be kidding me...."

The Quirk Apprehension Test begins the students of Class 1-A competing in a series of tests such as the 50-metre dash, the Grip Strength Test, the Standing Long Jump, the Sustained Sideways Jump and the final test The Pitch.

Well, it wasn't that hard for me since in the 50-metre dash..I just teleported to the the finish line. Bakugou is still upset about it.

I don't know about the Grip Strength Test though, I might go down a bit from that. I did great on the Standing Long Jump but not so good on the Sustained Sideways Jump.

The last pitch was awesome. Uraraka reached the infinity points due to her amazing Quirk. Next was me, cue the music!-

-what? No music? Damn it! I thought I paid Peter for it!

I stood on the circle and channeled my Quirk up to my palms and pressed that small teleportation pebble into the ball.

Once it was attached to it, I wound up my arm and threw the ball as far as I could only to see it teleport out of existence.

Mr. Aizawa:"F/n L/n's distance, Unknown? What the heck..?"

"Welp, I'm not paying for it...!"

I shrugged and walked back to the rest of my classmates. I guess Izuku was next, he looked pretty nervous about it.

In the last test, Izuku tries his pitch using his One For All Quirk, but for some reason, as he throws the ball his Quirk fails. Aizawa reveals that he erased his Quirk, leading to Izuku to realize that Aizawa is the Erasing Hero "Eraserhead".

"Knew it, the Capturing Weapon really gives it away.."

Mr. Aizawa explains that his Quirk has a major drawback and says that nobody will come to his aid when he is crippled. He continues to say that his "power" won't help him become a hero if his power causes him to be rescued by others. Mr. Aizawa decides to give Izuku a second chance.

"Hey! It's still cool!"

Mr. Aizawa:"Shut it..."

Taking Mr. Aizawa's advice into account, Izuku throws his pitch but at the last second, In my observation, he uses his Quirk and he concentrates through his fingertip, which causes the ball to fly high into the air, giving Izuku a high score.

Izuku:"S-see? I'm still standing...!"

Izuku then says to his homeroom teacher that he can still move and in the process proved Mr. Aizawa wrong that his power would cause him to be rescued by other, impressing Mr. Aizawa.

I was impressed with Izuku's solution. Ochako cheers for Izuku and Tenya comments on Izuku's finger.

"Nice work Midoriya!"

Izuku:"T-Thanks!"

He was struggling to endure the pain of his really bruised finger. I gave him a pat on the back which he returned to me a painful groan.

Katsuki, on the other hand, is shocked and horrified at what happened, finding it impossible for Izuku to have a Quirk. Thinking that Izuku lied to him for all these years about not having a Quirk, an enraged Katsuki charges at Izuku demanding that he explain himself, but Aizawa stops Katsuki using his Capturing Weapon.

"You really need to chill, explosion boy..."
