CHAPTER 42

-Lucy's POV-

"We might die!?"

"Isn't it safer if you'll just tell us who the hell is the queen!"

"Actually it'll be more dangerous. If people know who the queen is they'll fear her since she sorta, kinda, might have, the power like Zeref. Most might think she'll side with Zeref."

"No we won't! It's a promise!"

"Well even if you won't what if she gets aggressive? You know what let's skip  this topic and discuss it next time. Lets try to talk things out with August."

"Natsu, Happy, Lucy, I'll send you there with Brandish. Where's First?"

"She went somewhere with Cana."

"I'll trust you four. Now go away."

"Hey, what magic does that August guy use?"

"You do realize we're going to talk things out not fight, right?"

"What?! The why am I here if no one is fighting?"  

"To be honest, August is the nicest among the twelve. However his loyalty to emperor is truly amazing. He'd give everything to him."

"How are you going to talk things out then?"

"That's...a very good question...How will I?"

"Hey, could you stop stalking us?" 

Me, Brandish and Happy turned head to see...Mest?

"I still can't believe you two trust her already."

"She's not bad ya' know."

"She still tried to kill Lucy you know! Don't forget she's a prisoner of war!"

"Well she shared information and saved Natsu!"

"Still!"

"Don't sweat the small stuffs Mest."

"Is your brain even functioning?!"

"Hey, are we going to walk there?"

"Let's not ride carriages shall we?"

"I got an idea."

Then the next thing I saw was Happy as a giant.

"He's huge!"

"Now we can all ride...this big fluffy guy!!"

Wow, sudden mood swings.

"Turn me into a giant too!"

Happy picked me up from the ground. 

"I have a feeling I'm the coolest cat in the whole world!"

"Put me down!!!"

 After arguing we all rode on Happy's back and made our way to August.

On our way Brandish made Natsu's head huge.

"Being huge is awesome!!"

"Brandish, could you turn him back to normal? He's creeping me out.."

"He wanted to be big. Now he's big!"

"But its creeping me out big time!"

"He's enjoying himself, why bother?"

The next thing I knew she changes my chest size.

"You can't just do that to other people's body!!"

"Will you not play aroun---"

"This power..."

"There's no mistake..."

"I knew he's strong but... I think this is too much..."

"August is here."

We landed on the ground to meet with August.

"Brandish, did you betray the emperor? Why are you here?"

"I've come to negotiate with you..."

"Has Jacob been killed?"

"He's a prisoner. He's not dead. These two defeated him."

"Oh my....I see why that happened."

"Where's God Serena?"

He placed his hand to where I assume his chest is. "He's here with me."

"Anyways...betrayed would seem like the appropriate word I guess...Its just...I don't know why are we at war?"

"No, no, Its fine...I don't know if I cold call this betrayal... you brought two of the most important people of this war right here. You actually helped with your 'betrayal'...Now should we take them back to his majesty?"

"August, listen to me!"

"You know his majesty just wants to be happy."

"This war is just murder! from what I heard, his majesty said there'll be the right time of when she'll remember."

"That was before his majesty remembered. His memories were altered a little. He forgot that the right time will never come without a little force. She'll never remember if you  don't make her. That's why he started the war to restore her memories and get everything that's hers!"

"W-What?"

"The queen left without any plans of coming back."
