Second grade everything changed. My mother has been stable with her Bi-polar since I have been born. Just for some reason now she completely changed. People who are mentally ill have the mindset that if they feel better they no longer need to take medications. This was my mom. They had prescribed her an anti-anxiety medication and an anti-depressant. When she took them properly she was fine. When she didn't she'd get a little crazy.

One day my mom got really unstable. I don't even really remember what had happened I was so young I just know something wasn't right. I would get home from school go to my mom and do what I needed to do. My mom would call my dad and tell him how bad of a child I am and to call the doctor and return me because I "wasn't Jill" anymore.

My dad had a extremely good job before I was born, but because my mom wasn't mentally able to raise me he had to quit that job  and start a new one. Everytime my mom would act out from not taking her medication my dad (as always) would rush home from work.

Living this type of life is already stressfull enough. My mom would threaten to burn my toys, stuffed animal's, baby blankets, etc. She even threatned to burn my dog Jade alive. It was terrible I wouldn't wish this upon anyone else. She really hadn't done anything 'leaglly wrong' until this day. I remember it clear as day. My mom and dad got into an argument I'm not even sure what it was about. Anyway as 'karma' my mom thought it would be a good idea to call the police to inform that my dad was beating up my mom. This wasn't going on it wasn't true, it wasn't happening.

Once the cops got to my house it was 2 AM and I was still awake. They wanted to talk to me alone and I did tell them the truth. At this point my dad said enough was enough so we traveled to Maine. I was told to pack my stuff and that we were leaving. I did as told and off we were no where to go, but that didn't matter.
