I step off the plane, my legs feeling like jello from how long I have been sitting in the plane. I let out a yawn and take out my phone. I frown seeing that I had no messages, but I did have a few notifications from a few apps that I had installed.
I shake my head and go to check out what I have missed, but the apps give me the death wheel. I frown more and notice that my phone has no service so I wouldn't be able to check anything until I got a new phone because I was no longer in America.
I let out a deep breath and put my phone into my back pocket and continue to follow my parents down a long hall full of staring eyes. I try to keep my eyes else where, but things were written in weird ways and it hurt my eyes to just look at it. Everything was different and people kept staring at me like I was some kind of odd art piece in a random place.
I look down at my clothes, trying to fix them up a bit so I didn't look too bad. I look up to see my parents talking to some random old man, or so I thought was random. I try to listen in on the conversation, but give up when he starts to speak in what was most likely Korean. My father seemed to know it very well and it gave me goosebumps knowing that this was all planned out and kept from me.
I walk towards to front doors that where made of glass, taking a look out at all the tall buildings surrounding the area. This was the first time that I was going to live in a city. It was kind of scaring me. I take my eyes away from the buildings and look over to see the man, my father was talking to earlier, staring down at me with an eyebrow raised.
"So would you?" He asks in perfect English but with a thick accent.
I just stare at him because I wasn't paying attention to anything he had said to me. He seemed to noticed and he lets out a deep breath.
"Would you like me to introduce you to me son? He knows English very well and your father told me it would be a good idea for him to be your translator."
This makes my eyes widen a bit and I glance over at my father who nods his head with a wide smile.
"Um, sure I guess," I say quietly and give the man a small fake smile.
The man nods his head and tells me that his name is Jung Min-Jun, but he told me to just call him Jun. I give him a nod of my head before I follow him to a car where my parents where waiting.
I slip inside the silver colored vehicle after my parents and Jun gets into the drivers seat before driving off towards to what I assumed was the place we would be living at. As the car moves I take a chance to take a look out the window and watch all the new places pass by. There were colors mashed all together on buildings and little food courts here and there. People were laughing and smiling which made this place seem like it would be an okay place to live.
I finally look away after a few moments and take a glance at my parents who were smiling and talking with one another. I roll my eyes at this and quickly look away. At least they were happy about this.

We end up at a very nice large apartment building. It was a mix of whites and silvers so that when the sun hit it in the right place it shimmered and sparkled. I sigh and reach for the handle to open the car door, but before I could even touch it the door swings open and there stood Jun with a smile planted on his face. I give the man a smile as I quickly get out of the car, looking over at my parents who were getting out on the other side. A few men that were dressed up in suits come up to us and help with our bags, placing them on a cart like thing before disappearing into the building.
I stare up at the large building before my father calls out my name, grabbing my attention. I look over to see that they were already heading into the place and I quickly start walking after them so I wouldn't be left behind. Once again there were people staring at me so I kept my eyes else where so I wouldn't have to see their rude stares.
