After we had dinner Jun decides to show us to the place we would be staying. It so happened to be the same building he and his son were staying in. This made me feel a lot better knowing that I would have someone to talk to besides my parents.
I smile slightly at the thought and step off the elevator that we were in. I glance around as we head down one of the halls and stop at a door to our right. The number placed on the top middle of the door read 354.
I wait until the door is open before walking inside to see a very empty apartment. Our stuff was clearly not here yet besides out suitcases that we brought ourselves. I glance over to one of the doors and walk up to it. I turn the nob and walk in, seeing a beautiful room. The walls were painted silver with specks of orange throughout the paint. There was a bed that had some cheap white sheets on it but it was still pretty. There was a glass door that lead out to a balcony and I knew that I was going to take this room.
"I claim this room!" I yell out and I hear the faint laughter of my parents and Jun. I smile to myself and take my jacket off and place it on the bed. Maybe things weren't going to go as bad as I thought, but then again maybe they were.
I walk out of the room and watch as Jun leaves. He waves to me before shutting the door behind himself.

Its been two days now and we finally got our stuff in. I was currently in my room, unpacking all my things and placing them where they should go. I take off the white sheets from the bed and place my dark purple and green flower set on.
After an hour or so I make my way to the kitchen to find Hoseok talking to my mother. He had a white cap on along with a black shirt and camouflaged pants. He smiles when he notices me come in and I give him a smile in return. I wasn't expecting to see him today and I wasn't even fully dressed. I was still in my night clothes.
"We were just talking about how Hoseok will be in all of your classes for school. He had the principal change your schedule so that he would be able to help you out since you don't know any Korean yet," my mother says with happiness.
I smile a little bit more, knowing that I would have someone to talk to during school. I wouldn't be the awkward new girl who didn't know anyone. I would start out with one friend at least.
"Thank you," I say to Hobi and he gives me his wide heart shaped smile.
I look down at my shoes before I look back at my mother.
"Do you think Hoseok can show me around a bit? I haven't been able to go out and explore since we've moved here."
I look over at Hobi as his eyes widen and I smile slightly before glancing back at my mother. She seemed really happy about me asking.
"If its okay with you I would be glad to show Elizabeth around," Hobi says.
My mother quickly nods her head.
"You two be careful though," she says.
Hobi nods his head in excitement and I let out a laugh. I go to grab a jacket before I follow Hoseok out of the apartment. We walk down the hall and instead of the elevator Hobi goes for the stairs. I give him a confused look even though he wasn't looking.
I quickly follow the kid, starting to jog since he had long strides. He starts running down the stairs and I do the same. I let out a breath, having not ran in a while. When we reach the first floor I stop and place my hands on my knees as I try to catch my breath.
"You okay?"
I nod my head and stand up straight, giving him a smile. Inside I was actually dying. He smiles and starts to walk again. I rush after him, my lungs burning.
"Where are you taking me?" I ask in between breaths.
"To show you around like you wanted me to," Hobi simply replies.
I roll my eyes slightly and continue to follow him outside. I look around at our surroundings, smiling wide when I am finally able to get a better look at it. I feel something grab onto my forearm and pull me down the sidewalk. I let out a yelp in shock.
I then let out a laugh when I notice it was Hobi. He slows down after a while, but keeps his hand around my arm. I clear my throat and he quickly lets go. He walks along side me and pushes his hands into his pockets, looking around at his surroundings.
He keeps quiet and this makes me feel a little weird. Before I knew it he takes a sharp left and walks into a store. I follow close behind and look at all of the different things they had. Then I watch as he walks over to a selection of books and picks one up. He then heads towards the register and pays for it before handing it off to me.
"To help you when I can't," he says with a small smile.
Then we were out of the small shop and walking down a busy sidewalk again, cars honking as they ride down the road. As we walk I take in all of the beauty of the city. It was so much better than I thought.
We end up at another place that was handing out food of all sorts. It was a small food court.
"Are you hungry?" He asks and points to what looks like the menu on the wall.
"Oh, no i'm okay. I left my money at home."
He laughs at this and says, "I asked you so therefore I would buy you something if you were. I wasn't going to make you pay."
"No i'm still good. You already bought me this book," I hold up the book with a smile as I speak.
He roles his eyes and gets in line, trying to hide his smile from me. This kid was always so happy and it made me happy just seeing him is such a good mood. I don't even know why it was having an affect on me.
I shake my head and move over to where he was standing in line, feeling awkward standing alone in the middle of the court. I look over when I hear someone laughing and look over to see a group of girls that looked around our age. They point towards Hoseok and me and I suddenly get a bad feeling in my stomach. I could already tell that school wasn't going to be easy.
Hoseok orders something in Korean when its his turn and I stay quiet as I listen to the sounds of their voices. Then we wait to the side as the food gets prepared.
"Those girls are popular in school and they think they are better than everyone else," Hoseok starts. "Just don't let them get to you. I don't anyways."
I look up at him when I hear this and my heart slightly hurt at the thought of the girls making fun of such a nice person. This makes me think back to when I was in America. I did the same things to a few people and now I knew what it felt like. I didn't like the feeling.
The food gets handed over to Hobi by a young woman and he thanks her before we go to find a seat. There was one open and we quickly claim it before anyone else could. He then sets the food down and hands me a few things.
"I told you not to buy me anything."
"I know, but I didn't listen."
I give him a playful push to the shoulder, but thank him and start to eat the food he had bought me.
