The next morning, i got a cab to Starbucks. I needed to relax, with this stressed week. I figured if i could sell the weed faster, i could get more money faster. I got my coffee and sat down. I felt a usual hit of my ass and i stood up abruptly. Tanner gave me a dorky smile, and i was about to cuss him out when he said
"U have a nice ass for a white girl."
I couldnt do anything but laugh. I wasnt flattered (because i already knew), but it was funny. I tried to hold it back, and it showed, but i just couldnt.
"Why didnt u answer my text? It said u read it." He asked.
"I was busy" i lied.
"Oh." He replied solemly.
We sat down to talk. I sipped my coffee, and suprisingly without my headphones. We talked of funny stories, and experinces with the cops. 3 hours had passed, and reality had smacked me across my face.
"SHIT!" I yelled. The same lady gave me a scared stare and ran out. "What time is it?" Tanner checked his watch. "1 pm." I grabbed my bag and ran out. I didnt even realize i never said goodbye. I had to sell my shit fast. And Tanner seemed to know. He watched me run out with a smirk.
