Tord's POV

Leading the whole Red army is hard to say the least. I have to worry about my soldiers, keeping the base safe and secluded, fighting off enemies, the list goes on. I'm pretty sure, after a long night of working, people would normally turn to their significant other for comfort. But not me. I turn to smoking and drinking, even some hookers from time to time. I can't help it anymore. Pat and even Paul have told me multiple times to stop. But I can't. I feel that these vices are stronger than I am. I feel very sad most of the times and my work is getting sloppier, everything was piling up, work seemed endless and impossible. I'm sure I hit rock bottom when I was out on the battlefield and got shot twice, one bullet in my left shoulder and another in my leg. Worst part was that the fight was nearly done, we were winning of course, but I went down as my soldiers finished off the rest of the enemies. Let me tell you, lying on the blood covered ground for a few minutes, bleeding, wasn't my ideal Friday afternoon. I didn't lose consciousness, I mean I have withstood injuries far worse than those. I was getting carried to the ambulance we had, and I overheard Pau and pat going over something about my rehabilitation, that meant no more cigars and whiskey for me. I just closed my eyes and let it happen.

I woke up in the familiar Red army hospital. My shoulder and leg were wrapped in bandages. A sigh escaped my slightly chapped lips. Then I heard the door opening and small footsteps coming up to my bed. I expected to be greeted with our nurse Mrs. Johansen, but instead my eyes were met with a very pretty lady, she had bright (E/C) eyes, and as I can recall, this was our new nurse (Y/N) . "Ah, good morning Red Leader, nice to see you awake" she said, her voice sweet, like music to my ears. "Uh, yeah, good morning, (Y/N) right?" I respond. "Mhm,! That's right, I'm going to help you with your addictions, alcohol and smoking, correct?" "Yes" I feel very ashamed of myself, this (Y/N) girl, I hope she's good at what she does. Maybe, just maybe she can fix me.

Your POV

I finally met Red Leader, he's not as bad as everyone says he is. He seems to be sweet. I feel determined to help him, I mean when Paul came to me and said that he needs to quit his addictions, I was honestly scared. Everyone he says he's a monster, the red devil, to be exact. So naturally I was scared that when I have to take his vices away from him, he'd take his anger out on me. But as a good nurse, I must help him. Thankfully I'm not as scared now. I smiled at him "You know, Red Leader, you will get better, I know you feel like you can only rely on your vices to help you through the day, but i'm here to guide you to the right path, the road may be tough but let's start simple, do you want to quit?" Red Leader looked taken aback, he thought for a second. Then he grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes."Yes, I want to quit. And I'm sure I can, you seem like the perfect person to help me." he smiled at me, his eyes were such a pretty gray, yes his face was scarred. But he still liked very handsome. I felt my cheeks heat up as he pulled me into a hug. "I'm sure I can find a brighter path with you by my side"
