One of my favorite mottos is that a new day brings new light. A new day is a new page in a book, a week is a chapter. Every night I close my eyes wondering what the sun will bring, yet twenty four hours pass and I'm still left disappointed.
It's a trend really.
I've gotten used to it by now but tonight I swear it's different. Tomorrow brings a whole new journey. Opportunities that I have not been given before. Tomorrow will be amazing.
---
Not quite as amazing as I first perceived. This morning wasn't the greatest start to my day and because of that it made my morning process even longer. It was my first day of school, that was the last thing I needed.

Class schedule pick up went fine, I got a few weird stares but that's okay. Finding my classes, however, proved to be a bit harder. I ran into many people non of them stopped except one."Watch where you're going!" The guy said.
"Sorry!" I squeaked. I was used to people screaming at me but this guy towered over me and looked to be a weightlifter.
"Nex-" he starts. "Oh Liam! Give her a break, she's obviously new." His friend interrupts him.
"I'm Kris, and that's Liam." She says smiling at me. "Oh and by the way your makeup is way to clumpy. You should rub it in some more." She says cringing.
My hand immediately comes up to the one spot I know I put way to much on this morning. "Thanks." I tell her. She nods and asks my name.
"Jamie." I tell her. She compliments my name and starts talking about the many makeup disasters she sees everyday. At the end of our conversation she offers me a seat at there lunch table and guidance to my next class.
I might of made a friend. I smiled and followed her to math.

Classes are dull, but aren't they always? I have Kris in two of my classes so far and Liam in one.
Now it's lunch and I am looking for Kris. It takes me a while and my lunch is starting to get heavy even though it only has a peanut butter sandwich and water on it. Since I am in the foster program, I get free lunches. They never classified what kind of free lunches. I finally spot her though.
I head towards the table and Kris welcomes me with open arms. The others however aren't as friendly.
"Hey everybody! This is Jamie and she's going to sit with us okay?" Kris looks around the table expectantly.
There are about five of them including Kris. They look hesitant but grudgingly nod there heads. I sit across from Kris and next to a red headed girl.
They introduce themselves to me. It was Liam, a tall, muscular guy with brown hair and blonde highlights. Melissa was the girl with bright, beautiful red hair, blue eyes, and thousands of freckles. I forgot the others.
I stayed silent as they talked about minuscule things such as movies and celebrities. They seemed like nice people and I had a feeling this was the better day I had been looking for.
