"Taehyung?", you, a nineteen year old teenager with emerald green eyes, chestnut brown hair, nose ring and two cute dimples, called out for Taehyung's name in the Hallways of Korea's international Highschool.Ever since you were four, where your's and Taehyung's mothers were close, you and the boy became best friends. You were inseparable. Just like a toddler with its teddy bear.
There he came, hand in hand with a different girl you wished you were, who was a million times prettier than you. The girl was a blondie, with blue charmant eyes, way too much perfume, makeup and bitchy clothes.
Are we even allowed to wear heels at school?, you thought to yourself.
Taehyung and the girl came closer. You defienetely noticed how the girl's grip tightened around taehyung's hand as you stared at them being intertwined. She clinged onto his arm and shot you a disgusted look, judging you from head to toe, and asking Taehyung with the most earraping voice ever; "Tae honeybae, who's this stranger? She knows your mine, right?", Taehyung's brows furrowed in a frown, nodding. "She's my best friend. Taehi, meet my girlfriend Jaeeun. Jaeeun, my best friend, Taehi.", he shot both of you a smile.
A slight pang hit you straight in the heart, as you saw how his smile widened when he looked at Jaeeun. You could tell Jaeeun was just there for his popularity and looks.
"Mhm, yeah. Hi Taehi! I hope we can be good friends.", she mocked you without Taehyung noticing, and you felt your hands forming into fists and sweating furiously.
"Why did you call me?", Taehyung broke the silence. Your jaw unclenched and almost immediately your expression went into a hurt one.
He forgot. My Taehyung forgot. Today is our fifteenth year of friendship celebration day.
You gulped down the big lump in your throat to prevent yourself from crying. No, you're not weak. You're strong. But hearing this from your own best friend, that always has his calendar in his mind checked, now forgot this most beautiful and special day, that now turned into a mess.
Taehyung obviously got worried as he saw your face getting redder by the second, you too felt the depressing heat rush to your face and eyes.
"Taehi are you okay?", as he asked this, you looked towards Jaeeun who was making fun of you. You clenched your jaw and fists, your head shaking violently.
"No. I'm not okay.", you felt a tear escape your eye, taehyung's hand gripping your shoulder. "Taehi please don't cry and tell me what's going on!"
"Taehyung. I never knew you were this forgettable. You're probably suffering of Alzheimer at a young age.", you gave him a hurt smile, turned on your heels and grabbing the strand of your backpack harshly, your head hanging low and your feet dragging you outside the school.
"What a crybaby.", Jaeeun silently spoke. "What did you say?", Taehyung asked her and looked down at her. He was crushed by Taehi's words. She usually never cries and talks like this at Taehyung, except if it's something seriously wrong he has done.
"Nothing! Now... wanna do something fun at my place? My parents are gone.", Jaeeun chirped, Taehyung smirked. He nodded and both of them went at her place.
But, Taehyung was still confused and worried as in why Taehi ran away crying, and spoke to him like that.
