A/N sorry it took longer than I said but it had deleted the whole chapter and I forgot to copy and paste it somewhere else. luckily I remembered the whole part it deleted, word for word. :)
It was Friday and Dylan was rummaging through his locker that was right next to mine. I asked him where he was this morning, but he didn't seem to want to talk about it.
"I think I left my textbook in the basement." Which class? "Math, Kiwi" Did I say that out loud?
"Here take mine, I have math this afternoon. Speaking of the basement, you're still coming over tonight, right?" I handed over my textbook.
"Yup!" he said popping the p. (Every last weekend of the month we spend together, Friday, video games, Saturday is our lazy day, and Sunday we go get ice cream. (Last month was cod.) "Could your sister stop somewhere so I can get gta5 on the way home?" He spoke quickly.
"You haven't got it yet! You're falling behind!" I told him like it was the end of the world. "Talk to you later!"

After school my sister, Stacie, stopped for Dylan to get gta5 and some snacks for tonight. We got barbecue and all dressed chips which are mine and his favorite. Also we got some candy for me! Once we got to my house, after stopping at his to put his game away since we didn't need it, we went to the basement and popped in the disc. Tonight was Mortal Kombat. He usually plays as Scorpion, Reptile, or Freddy Krueger. I play as Goro, Baraka, or Kitana.
Dylan
First we were versing eachother. Scorpion vs. Baraka. She could definitely play. It didn't take long for the screen to read Fatality. She slaughtered me in less than 30 seconds.
I suggested a tag team ladder. I stayed as Scorpion and she changed to Goro. It was the last match, against no one other than Shao Kahn. I was covered in blood. He had quarter of his health left. (mostly because of Kiwi, one day I will beat her.) I started thinking a lot. I've always worried about her liking the popular, Kyle, thinking she will do something crazy.
I must have zoned out because I died. Kiwi continued to play. she asked me for a piece of licorice. "Really?" I passed her a piece. "fine," she grabbed it out of my hand and hit him one more time when the screen said finish him.
••• 3 hours later•••
We didn't play Mortal Kombat the whole time. We talked and ate candy and chips. Whenever Kyle came up, I always changed the conversation, but he always ended up coming back in. I got sick of talking about the oh so wonderful, Kyle. According to Keilee, his blonde hair always went the right way and his blue eyes were perfect.
"Why do you care?" My subconscious questioned me.
"I don't!"
"You don't what?" Keilee asked me. Oops! did I say that out loud. "Nothing!" I spoke quickly.
Her mom called down the stairs saying that dinner was ready.

Sunday morning I woke up only getting 6 hours of sleep because I was up till 3:00am. I woke up at 9:02 and I had to meet Dylan at 10:02. He made it 2 minutes after because I always was late. I rolled out of my beanbag chair that I managed to fall asleep in, playing cod. After taking a quick shower, I put on black skinny jeans, a purple hoodie, and my lime green beanie. I drove off to Omand's Creek Ice Cream Co. they have variations of chocolate, ice cream and tons of candy. the shop was just outside of town. When I pulled up Dylan was leaning against his car. We both have Chevrolet cars, me with my navy blue Corvette and him with his bright green Camaro. "Hey, your early this time." Dylan mocked me.
"Ya, ya, ya I know."
"Well let's go inside now, it looks like it's going to rain." Dylan suggested as he turned to go get some ice cream. There was chocolate to the right, candy to the left. Also ice cream behind the chocolate. We ordered our ice cream and drove home in the rain. that's when I figured out a plan to make Kyle like me. I smiled deviously.
A/N it's pouring outside and it's thundering like crazy. like it feels like it's shaking my house just a smudge. I'm scared heheh! it stopped thundering yes! Never mind :( anyway now to the important stuff. School for me is finally done and it's summer! I am going on vacation though from July 3rd to July 7th so if I don't have wifi I won't be updating but I will when I get back. It's also my bday while I'm gone so yay! that's all -brook :< (idk)
