'Chapter 7

Chace's POV.

Damn that Stephanie, isn't she tired of chasing me? I liked Adelaide, she was different from other girls, other girls wear slutty clothes to impress me, hoping I'll fall in love with him, but sorry no. Stephanie, I swear if you lay a hand on Adelaide, I'll make sure you will fucking regret it.

Ade's POV.

I kept quiet for the whole day, keeping my distance away from anyone, Chace and Lydia also found out that I was acting weird, after my classes, I didn't care, I just ran home.

Lydia's POV.

What's up with Ade? Did she have a fight with Chace? Hopefully not.

I walked towards Chace and asked " Whats wrong with Adelaide?"

His face was filled with worry. And shook his head and said " Who knows". Looks like they didn't have a fight, but what happened? I could see it in Chace's eyes, worry and lies. Yep, he was lying to me, I'm gonna consult Ade myself.

I walked to Ade's house cause my boyfriend was busy, I didn't even have time to spend with him. I pouted. As I reached her house, I knocked on the door, and Ade's foster mom, Vanessa smiled at me.

"Hello Vanessa! Is Ade home?" I cheerfully asked.

"She's in her room! Come in and I'll make tea to bring it up"

I love Vanessa, even if its not Ade's real mom, but she acts like her real mom, showering her foster daughter with love. I walked in and Vanessa went into the kitchen to prepare tea. I adored Ade's house, even though its not really big, it had the cozy feeling y'know. Its fabulous to hang out her during winter, they have a good fireplace.

Soon Vanessa brought out a tray with 2 cups of hot tea and 2 cupcakes, I thanked her and slowly carried it up to Ade's room. I kicked the door as my hands are carrying the tray, and Ade opened the door, her eyes filled with tears.

"Oh my god, you're gonna need a explaination for this young lady!" I said. She just went back in without another word, sat on her bed and stare outside the window. I put the tray on the table and sat beside her, I never seen Ade crying like this... Damn I was fucking worried.

"Babe, what happened?" I asked, putting my hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm your best friend, you can tell me anything" I assured her. She looked at me and started crying, I pulled her close.

"Stephanie.... she..." she finally said.

"What's up with her?"

"She threatened me today, she threatened me with a knife, that's why I have a scar on my neck!"

"That bitch"

"She also told me to stay away from Chace! Lydia, I don't want to, but I'm scared" she burst into tears again.

I didn't know that Stephanie liked Chace, I mean she flirted with boys before, my boyfriend too, luckily he was smart enough to ignore her.

"Babe, if she dare to lay a hand on you, ill break her neck! All of your friends will!"

Her eyes was red, but she managed to put on a small smile. I grinned and took the cup of hot tea and asked her to drink it, " drink it before it turns cold" I told her.

When I returned back, I texted Chace, well when Ade was in the toilet, I managed to look at her phone to grab his number.

"Lydia here, I think Ade's fine now, she was scared about Steph. Nice try lying ;)" He replied after a few minutes

" Hey, okay good. Thanks, should I try it again?"

"Sure, but try harder"

Hah he didn't reply, I congratulated myself, I just won a text fight with the badboy.
