'Chapter 8

Stephanie's POV.

What does Adelaide Joy have that I don't have, I think I'm way better than her, I mean I'm head cheerleader, most popular girl in school. But what does she have that I don't have that attracted Chace? I have the body, the looks, the money, but what exactly does Chace sees in her!?

I went up to her with a knife just now, threatening her. No one can have Chace but me, yes I'm selfish, but theres nothing you can do about it. That's the side that no one knew except Chace, ever since we were young, our parents knew each other, played with each other since young. Our parents put us in the same high school, thought that we would be a couple, I have a thing for Chace, but Chace doesn't, I asked him to be my boyfriend, confessed, but he rejected in a few moments. We known each other since young, we could have been together, but that Adelaide, ruining it. I won't let her get her way, Chace is mine, only mine.

If she lay a hand, a finger, talk to him or so. I swear, I'll do something.

Ade's POV.

Stephanie's words till hunt my mind, I was practically studying in fear, that sentenced hunted me, I couldn't study properly, couldn't hear what the teacher taught, the words are taking my mind, Stephanie threatened me for Chace, what if she killed me? No no, I'm imagining too much.

"Miss Joy, kindly repeat what I said" My teacher said. She must have noticed me daydreaming. I whispered " I don't know Miss" She asked me to repeat my words, suddenly, Chace saved me.

" You were talking about our school carnival miss" he said. I gave him a thankful smile, man he saved my ass. He returned me a smile, not just any fake one, a real smile I've never seen. Oh my god, look at dimple. So sexy. Hey I'm a girl. Even though I had eye contact with him, I was scared of Stephanie, she was in the same class as me, I turned behind and I saw hatred and jealousy in her eyes. I knew she will do something from me.

Chace's POV.

I helped Ade from the teacher, we made eye contact after so long, but she worried, which I knew why, Stephanie was in the class. I feel like coming to her and slapping her face, I liked Ade, what's the problem? Just because we knew since young , and our parents expect us to be together but doesn't mean we have to. I'm not surprised when girls get jealous but this is going to far, if it gets any worse, I won't let Ade get hurt, I should and I will do something.

Ade's POV.

Lydia's coming over today, she's somehow my bodyguard, girl version, and her boyfriend was busy, and she wouldn't want to stay at home with her brother, so she was kind enough to come over my place and be my bodyguard, kinda looking out for Stephanie and the jocks. I appreciate her help, but I want to handle Stephanie alone. To be honest, after thinking that Stephanie was doing this cause she is jealous, I don't feel that scared, in fact, I was quite reassured. I don't feel butterflies in my stomach anymore, this calls for a party woo.

Just kidding. I don't think Vanessa would like it if I told her that.
