Avery summers tapped her pink gel pen exactly 30 times a minute just to let the time past in the boring class room. Her hair in a messy bun on top of her head started letting a few strands fly from it.
She blew a breath and looked around the classroom. Many of the students were just like her, bored beyond comprehension. Ms. Mathews the English teacher, was giving one of her long speeches about Shakespeare and poets just like him.
Her best friend Lucille was just as bored as her as she let out a loud dramatic sigh. Her golden locks in a tight up ponytail as she twirled it with her index finger. She smacked her kiwi flavored orbit gum loudly and blew a few bubbles. Then her blue eyes twinkled with mischief and tricks.
Lucille threw her #2 pencil at Ms. Mathews Apple when she had turned her back. The apple landed with a thud on the floor and rolled over to Ms. Mathews foot. Ms. Mathews, to engaged in her own voice didn't realize the apple fell, nor did she know it was by her foot. As she turned around she slipped on the apple and fell right on her bottom.
Everyone in the classroom laughed at her misfortune.
Ms. Mathews eyes had an evil glint in them as she stood back up, furious that she was made a fool of in their own classroom.
"Who is responsible for the apple being on the floor," she hissed. Her face flush with embarrassment. Nobody said a thing, some of them were still laughing at her slipping on an apple, how do you even do that? Avery thought bananas were what people slipped on, but she slipped on an apple, a classic tainted.
Lucille got up and picked the apple up for her along with her pencil. "Gee Ms. Mathews, we don't no but I promise it won't happen again," Lucille said patting her on the back.
Ms. Mathews smiled at Lucille and kindly thanked her, as the bell rang.
"Just for that little stunt, you all have to read chapter 16 about poetry" she yelled as they got up.
As they were leaving, everyone started laughing yet again. As well as the next class that was joining her.
On her back was a sign that read " Apple A*s!!
