Robin alone

A/N: Dick Grayson is 9 years old and is active as Robin for just a few months

,,do you really have to go?,, asked Dick as Bruce was about to left the manor. ,,yes Dick but i will be back in a few days dont worry,, said Bruce and hugged his forster son, then he left. Dick went into his room to finish his homework and after that he read a book. Alfred came into the boys room ,,master richard, dinner is ready,, ,,im coming,, said dick and went downstairs into the diningroom. He ate the dinner as he noticed a sound of the batcave. Instandly ran the raven haired boy into the cave and saw the bat alert. Dick sat on the Bat computer and looked whats going on ,,the joker is planning sonething,, he said. ,,master Richard i suggest to call master bruce,, said Alfred who followed the boy. ,,no i think he wont be here in time,, said Dick while he changed into his Robin costume.
,,but i dont think you should go alone,, said Alfred. Robin took his motorbike,sat on it and before he drove away he said:
,, dont worry i can handle it,, then the boy was gone.

Robin drove through the coordinates that the bat computer showed. ,,i have to find out what the joker is planning,, said Robin to himself. He stopped by an old warehouse. He looked at it and saw an air vent. Robin smirked and climbed into it. He crawled through the vent until he saw a small open part where he could look down at the joker. He was talking with Harley Quinn. Robin stayed quit to listen what he talked. ,,as soon as we release the gas,will everyone laugh and never stop,, as Dick heard that, he gasped. But it was to loud. The joker looked up and saw him. He shot something up and a gas was all around Robin. He fell unconcious. Harley climbed into the vent and put Robin out of it. She tied up Robin and goes back to the joker.

As Robin woke up, he was alone. He couldnt see Harley or the joker. He managed to get up and walk to a door. Robin heard voices. Harley and Joker. ,,they again about that gas,, said Robin to himself. The boy looked around and saw something sharp. He managed to take it and cut the ropes. ,,ok now i have to get out of that room,, said Robin while he looked around. ,,and again saves a vent my life,, he said as he spotted an air vent and crawled through it. As he found an open spot he jumped down and where behind the joker.
,,hey joker do you know that the clowns in the circus were more evil than you,, said Robin joking. The joker turned around and said:,, the little bird is awake, now you can tell me where batsy is,, ,,i wont,, answered Robin and kicked the joker into his stomach, but he grabbed Robins leg and threw him against a wall. The boy got up and rubbed his head. In that time grabbed the Joker a crowbar. Robin jumped with a backflip behind the joker and kick him. So the joker fell on the ground. ,,dont mess with a bird,, said Robin smiling without notice Harley Quinn who took the crowbar and hits Robin on the head.

Robin P.O.V

As i got back my concinous i felt that i was in a car. I couldnt opened my eyes but i felt it. I heard a familiar voice. I coulndt really recoginzed it. Without noticing i felt like someone is carrying me. I finally could open my eyes and saw that i was in Batmans arms. I knew i messed up. I saw we were in the batcave and Bruce brought me to Alfred.
,,i found him unconcinous at the location you told me,, said Bruce and looked at me. ,,why didnt you waited for me?,, asked Bruce with a voice that was a mix of worry and anger. ,,i thought that..it could be to late...,, i said with a guilty voice. ,,that is no excuse for you to almost get killed,, i felt now bad and bruce seem to notice. He hold me tight and said ,,i just dont wanna lose you,, he said. ,,im so sorry,, i said.
,,i know you are,, i smiled and got tired and fell asleep in my fathers arms
