Different races and they're all sold by American in some kind of pre modern world. Like Attack on Titan kind of time period n all. It's all like a black market underground type thing n the people are sold to buyers but are priced by
Aesthetics.
Body build.
Race.
Stamina.
Endurance.
Eye color.
Family.
Age.
Hair color.
Height.
Weight.
Strength.
Obedience.
Attitude.
Likes.
Dislikes.
Health.
Fearlessness.
Basically they sell in the category that each buyer wants. And are priced higher depending on how well they do for the parts of that category. But they're mostly sold for their race and the races are known for certain things. For example Asians are good fighter. Russians are ruthless. Egyptians are aesthetically pleasing. And they buy them for things such ass armies. Whore houses. Maids. Basic slaves. And because the "Pure" race has taken over its very rare to find certain races and this small group of teens who escaped when they were kids grew up on the run and one is captured one day so they all go into the market system to save their friend and then they're separated and bought by two different opposing gangs and get caught up fighting for each side and they each are convinced that their side is the good side.
