Delilah's P.O.V
I walk into school tiredly only to see Ethan acting like a jock laughing with his "friends".
He's so fake. I think. As I attempt to walk past them as fast as possible one of Ethan's so called "friends" , Jayden yells to me
"Oh look it's Ethan's girl! Ethan you could've done better, she looks gross!" My face turns red with embarrassment but then I get angry.
I walk up to him and say " your girlfriend cheated on you with your fucking cousin, so I suggest you shut the fuck up?" Before he can respond I push him into the locker and walk off with a smirk, it's fun. I look back briefly only to see Ethan smirking at me, what a jerk.
Ethan's P.O.V
I can't stop smiling after seeing her do that, that was so cool... I was happy seeing her stick up to Jayden, he was a huge jerk, and I only acted like him to survive. I just wish she knew that.
Delilah's P.O.V
After the school day I hop on my bike and leave, thank god. I think. I come through my front door only to find Ethan by the door.
"Ethan why are you here?"
"Um maybe because I live here now? Where have you been?" He says lifting one eyebrow weakly
Why does he have to be so good looking?
"Just- I wasn't- why do you care?!"
"Oh so you're tough now? Since when did you even- last year you were a huge wimp that didn't even look at anyone."
"Because I want to? I'm sick of being a doormat, now stop walking on me" I push past him as his face sinks, he regrets what he did.
