Keep Emi Safe

Ruki san's P.O.V

"Yea?" I asked Kou who had just called me.

"Gommene Ruki I had to take Usagi chan home" Kou said "she got...uh....sick!" He exclaimed the last part so it was obvious he was lying. I sighed.

"Alright but I want the real answer when I get to the mansion" I said harshly "understood?" I asked.

"Hai" I could tell he was sulking. I hung up and ran my fingers through my hair. 'What am I going to do with her?' I asked myself "she's a mysterious one, I wonder what happened to her' I thought curiously. I started walking down the hall way. I stopped at the door of Emi's classroom.

I heard a group of girls giggling so I looked over and saw Aoi Amaya. She's a bitch. She's hanging out with her 'popular' group. I leaned against the door and listened. 'That damn 'popular group' are like the Sakamakis, they love seeing people in pain' I thought frustratedly.

"So I started throwing rocks at her haha" Amaya giggled at the end. 'Damn sadistic assholes' I thought with a look of disgust on my face.

"What did she look like?" One of the girls asked.

"No more like what was her name?" another asked.

"Her name was like Emily or Emi or something" Amaya replied. My eyes widened and I walked over to her. Their group was also a huge fan of both the Sakamakis and us Mukamis. "What is it Ruki kun?" She asked like she was innocent.

"What did that girl look like?" I asked trying to contain my anger and confusion.

"She had white hair with black eyes, oh and she gets different coloured streaks depending on her mood. She also has fangs" she replied happily. 'Holy shit' I thought 'Emi' I was shocked.

"She had fangs!?!" One of them asked "what a freak!" She exclaimed. I slapped her across the face.

"How dare you!" I scolded her "she's not a freak! Do you know what it's like to be tortured your whole life!?" I asked clenching my fists. The girl had tears in her eyes and was holding the red mark on her face. 'Lucky for this girl I have more things to do' I thought.

I walked out and went to the mansion. 'I can't believe Emi had to go through that!' I thought with anger flowing through my dark grey eyes. I 'flashed' there and I opened the door to Emi's room. She had her head on Kou's lap and he was sleeping.I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You could tell that she had been crying. They were both asleep 'thank goodness nothing happened to her' I thought relieved. I went to my room and began reading to get my mind off my anger and pity.

'She probably has scars on her back and arms yet they're faint. I wonder what else that bitch Amaya did to her.' I wondered.

I didn't know how long I had been reading but I was pretty sure it had been a while cause they were awake. I could tell this because I could hear Emi making a fuss and Kou chuckling and saying "gomme". I sighed 'those two' i thought with a frustrated look on my face. I got up and went to her room. I was going to tell Kou to make sure she stays away from Amaya at school and everywhere else however I thought it would be better to wait until she's not around.

Emi's P.O.V

I woke up with my head on Kou kun's lap. My face went bright red when he woke up too. I shot my head up.

"Baka what happened?" I asked angrily. He chuckled again and put his hands up in surrender. It was like a bullet through my head when he said the words Aoi Amaya. 'Thats right....she goes to my school.....what do I do?' My eyes went dark blue and I had blue streaks in my hair. Kou kun came up to me and put his hand on my head.

"It's okay Usagi chan" he said smiling "I won't let her hurt you" I grabbed his hand and took it off my head. He looked surprised when I did so 'does he really think I'm just going to say okay?' I asked myself with a useless feeling welling up inside me 'I'm capable of doing things by myself' I thought while clenching my fists.

"I'm not a child I don't need protection" I glared at him "I DONT NEED YOU TO PROTECT ME!" I shouted at him. He looked down and his eyes had seemed to stop glowing with happiness 'I'm not useless......I'm....I'm....' I said the last part out loud "a monster" he looked at me with wide eyes that were full of shock 'what do I do? I'm a monster! If I fight against her then I'll be even more of a monster' I thought.

He was still staring at me. I shoved him and walked out of the room. 'What am I going to do? I am useless' I slowed my pace and looked up. I was in the garden. I fell on my knees and looked at my hands 'these hands have killed before' I reminded myself of when I once lost control......when I first got supernatural abilities I didn't know how to control them and I killed someone. 'It was an accident.....I didn't mean to kill him....it wasn't my fault' I thought with my hands shaking.

'Yes it was' a voice inside my head told me. I held the sides of my head with my shaking hands. 'How much more pain and criticism can I take?' I asked myself. 'I can't do this anymore' I thought. Someone was standing in front of me and I looked up at them. Fear went through my body when I saw Amaya and her two friends standing there. Amaya was holding a large stick, the friend on the left was holing rocks and the other was holding a bat.

"Please" I pleaded for life but they just smiled and began beating me. Luckily they weren't very strong so when they hit me it didn't hurt as much as it could have. "......help......"was all that could escape my trembling lips.

"You're an ugly monster!" One of the friends shouted. She looked like a psycho as she held the bat up and down. I had bruises all over my body from her.

"Fucking die!" The other shouted. She threw and hit me with rocks, causing bleeding, long and short cuts all over my body also. Although I'm used to this it still hurts like hell and I know they won't stop especially if I plead for my life.

"FEEL PAIN YOU WORTHLESS WHORE!" Amaya screamed. Suddenly I felt something inside me light up 'I recognise this feeling.......I got this feeling when I lost control' I thought as my hair changed to black, ,y fangs grew longer and I grew claws like a lion.

Ruki san's P.O.V

I heard yelling and I went to go find out what was happening. I saw a girl with black hair, dark black eyes and large claws and fangs I started running. Before the girl could strike Amaya, Hana and Haru I grabbed her arm. She turned her head and growled. My eyes widened when I saw it was Emi. She was about to attack me with her other hand but I grabbed it as well. I looked her in the eye and when I saw that her black eyes contained no light what's so ever I lost it. "EMI!" I shouted trying to her through to her but it didn't work.

Her eyes just darkened even more and she opened her mouth revealing her long and sharp fangs. 'What the....' I couldn't finish my thoughts because she had bitten my arm and hard. I groaned in pain, they went deep into my skin. 'FUCK! THAT HURTS!' I shouted in my mind. I looked at her in the eyes again. Her eyes were full of pain, anger, sorrow and darkness. She was uncontrollable. It almost frightened me, however I regained my composure and held her arms firmly.

"STUPID WHORE LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Haru shouted, I glared at her but she ignored me. 'For fucks sake' I thought with anger in my eyes. I looked back at "Emi" and saw the darkness in her eyes weaken and the sorrow overflow. 'Shit' I thought when she stopped biting me and ripped her arms from my grip then started running away. I ran after her as fast as I could but she was too fast that I lost sight of her.
