Protector of Darkness

I awoke in an unfamiliar place, I was in a large bed with light pink sheets and pillows. I looked around the room and saw 6 vampires, they were all staring at me and they looked relieved. Who are these people? I stared back at them with confusion. "Who are you?" I asked now glaring at them.

Their once relieved look turned into sadness as they now looked down. I noticed two in particular who looked awfully similar. They both had bright lime green eyes although one had redder hair than the other, the one with the slighter orange hair was wearing a fedora with a ribbon around it. He was wearing a jacket with fur around the hood, the red head was wearing a school uniform with a few buttons done up on his white button up t shirt. Where his chest was exposed was his undone red tie, he was wearing wrinkled back pants.

"Answer me" I demanded and Red head went close to my face glaring at me.

"You don't command us around Mamoru" He said glaring at me, I returned the glare.

"My name is Emi not Mamoru, I don't know who she is however I know that is NOT me" I said, I looked at Fedora and he was the one that looked most sad.

"You are wrong" a boy that looked slightly older than me with dark grey hair, red eyes and glasses said looking down at me.

"Your name is Hotaru Mamoru" he continued "it means Darkness Protector, and we are that darkness"

"Y.....you're wr-wr.....wrong" I said now showing stress and anxiety "that can't be" I said now grasping the sides of my head "I-I am Emi, I was tortured by everyone my whole life.....I was raised at a catholic school"

"No, you are the one who's wrong Mamoru chan" Fedora said. How could this happen? What's going on? I don't understand.

"YOURE WRONG!" I shouted in my knees. "My name is Emi, I lost my memories, I don't have any parents.....I......I was.......I was taken in by the Mukami brothers" they now had anger on their faces.

"Damn Mukamis" I heard someone mutter, I turned my head to them and looked at him. He had white hair and red eyes, they seemed almost as if they were glowing. I walked up to him with anger in my eyes, despite that I was walking casually, I had my fists clenched.

I slapped him across the face, and hard "don't you dare talk about them like that" I growled, he looked at me with his eyes widened "Kou kun and Ruki san saved me therefore if you ever talk about like that I will not hesitate to hurt you" I threatened "even if it is vampires that I am fighting"

"Tch.....you know nothing Mamoru" he said almost muttering, I gave him a more dangerous look.

"You are the one who knows nothing" I retorted. He growled then 'flashed'. I rolled my eyes.

"Mamoru, y-you're back" I heard another voice. I looked over at the owner of the voice and saw a boy with blonde, curly hair and ocean blue eyes. My eyes widened, dark blood red, glowing red, ocean blue, light purple and lime green eyes.....its them. I remember those eyes, they're from my vision and dreams.

"Sh-Shuu, Kanato, Laito, Ayato, Reiji and s-Subaru" I stuttered with my eyes widened. "I-I remember you"

"About time, I'm hungry" Laito said while walking towards me.

"L-Laito....." I trailed off, moving backwards.

"So you finally remember us?" Reiji asked. I looked at him.

"H-hai" I stood there emotionless.

"That's good" Ayato said. "You're finally back" he pet my head "Laito isn't the only one who is hungry"

"Hai.....your Protector of Darkness is back" I replied. "That is what my nick name is....is it not?" I asked.

Ayato chuckled "yes, it is"
